. How did he got to the conclusion that its only about the parings not the characters and the whole story being retconed and main plot points not resolved
.

Well that's to be expected. Funny thing that Ramen said from 2chan that there were fans predicting that Sakura Sasuke and Hinata ended up with each other at the end of the film because of Bolt. Does any remainder Jap still believes in this theory? However, its seems like people (pretty much NS fans) are coming up with the theory (yes the same as my cousin and friends' theory) that Sarada may bring Naruto and Sakura together. Just imagine all the backlash Kishi and SJ will received by western fans and what's left of the SSers.

I am going to tell you my experience which led me to delete my french NS blog. In french "useless" is "inutile".
So I used to call Hinata -> Hinutile.
From this moment there was an invasion of naruhinatards. They offended me, criticized me so hard ..
One of them told me : if one day I meet you I burst you xD
The hell on earth. I couldn't more so I deleted my blog. NS shippers aren't numerous in France

Yeah that sounds like them really its not much different with their entire fandom , they all tend to use that kind of rabid approach and invading our personal space 
. They're so obsessed with us Why can't they just leave us alone with our opinions .

That's called socially awkward its like their whole life depend on this and we all need to validate and acknowledge their preferences or else we're all crazy and what not
