They really have blown that scene way out of proportion with their interpretation. The whole time she was only thinking of Naruto.

Edit: Can't wait until this gets subbed.

Yeah I know. I wonder what she has been saying about Naruto throughout the movie. It seems he kept popping up in her head every moments she's alone. Surprised that she thought of him when thinking Minato, the fourth Hokage. If the series ended before this movie or if this was a standalone movie, the romance aspect could have easily happen at the end because it's one of those stories where a girl likes another guy but learns the truth behind that guy and then run to a another guy and the rest is history. Sadly, this is based on a manga that's not done.

Given it is complete crack and has a -9000 chance of happening, I don't see the harm in people heartfarting over it. Even I was "hurr hurring" when it happened. Still couldn't really be interested in any crack pairings though. (as in, read fanfiction about them or doodle them, yada yada)
Sig made by me though. XD

Oh it was nice. Just saying that's all.
I can't believe people are arguing that the movie isn't made by Kishi. Why...

But either way, he was highly involved and he made them do what he wanted them to do. The movie was an extension of him personally, not canon, but still his ideas and his intentions. From start to finish, it was a summary of how much Naruto and Sakura has grown, not even necessarily as a couple, but as characters even. It's hard not to notice that their growth involved a lot of intimate moments and starting to care more and more about each other while tossing everything else aside, JUST like the manga events.
If you compare this movie to ALL the other Naruto movies, how can anyone deny this movie had a 'canon' feel? (by that, I mean the characters were themselves and the events weren't farfetched, it felt canon.) I could practically see Kishi stamping his "This is mine" badge on some scenes (especially the ones with the deep facial expressions) I'm not sure what people expected from this film, but I got all I could ever want. I didn't raise my hopes too high and all my wishes were fulfilled (mainly the family interactions)
This movie is somewhat damaging to some fandoms, even if it isn't canon. The original creator still made it it. No, he didn't animate it or write the dialog exactly, but he watched over it and made it how he wanted it, and I think for some fans that's enough to feel threatened. If that bit about Kishi saying this movie hinted at future events was translated correctly, then the future is obvious.

Exactly.
That said that's the problem. We established that the movie isn't canon, so why they even argued. It's the intentions behind Kishi is what bothered them the most, but that's like arguing chapter 450 is made by editors, not Kishi at all. I don't get it. If it's NH/SS, it must be Kishi. Otherwise, it's not

It's not like Itachi and Sakura did something nice but rather Itachi was doing his mission so he kept holding on to her to avoid her going to Naruto. Go figure.

Even if every NS fan admitted that it is not canon and only represented Kishi's ideas and his intentions, they would still persist that it is not canon and maybe even that he had nothing to do with it. Other than AU Hinata and Sasuke, (and Naruto's parents), the biggest draw to this movie was KISHI made it/was heavily involved. When they first started releasing teasers and we saw nothing but inverted images, they all said "Kishi's designs and story!"
If this were any other movie, as in, Kishi had nothing to do with it, I doubt any of us would care so much. (Or maybe you guys would, I don't know. But I wouldn't.)

Okay so you're going to get angry at Sakura's comment and ignore the entire movie which focuses a lot on NS bond, friendship and even more?

I would care for nice scenes, but nothing that will stand out. That's why this movie holds importance. I know it's not canon but it's the intention behind it. Honestly, this movie could have done with Sakura, especially if the driving force is the parents, which is still is. This movie does tell the character apart and how they represent themselves closely to the original story. Sakura is meant to be a character who gets reality check while Naruto is about experiencing something that you can't keep and enjoy it until it disappears. That's what it was missing from other Naruto movies. The best part is that these guys remember the journey, rather than cop out and say "Did we do something, Sakura-chan?"

I like how you assumed that I finished watching the entire movie. As soon as I saw that scene I paused the movie and went to this site. Relax.

This reminded me of yesterday when the last NaruHina mod on brchan got banned because there was having a thread with Narusaku x Naruhina discussion on the /jp/ because he jumped on the discussion and started banning Narusaku users.

Yeah I know what she said to Naruto about Sasuke, I wonder would happen with Naruto if ''Madara''do not come after that scene. Would Naruto be angry and yell to Sakura or sad and walk away?
