Kishimoto said in the RtN interview that he tried to accomplish something with RtN what he was not able to do in the real Manga.

Now we know what it was ...

 

God, I feel so stupid ... I can't explain it otherwise. Kishimoto must've been forced to write NH and SS ...

and this ending is probably hella sexist too. Sakura and Hinata's favourite things in the databook are two men ughbleh. Are Naruto and Sasuke's favourite things the girls? Girl characters are centred around pining over men but they don't have their own journey. wth if Naruto liked Hinata all along he should've replied to her confession and not just thank her for saving him. And where the hell is Taka why does Salad(????????) look like Karin

 

These pairings never spent time together. I can't imagine them living together we didn't even see them have fun srsly.

I wonder why Kishimoto created Karin, gave her pink hair, and made her an Uzumaki. It honestly felt like she was meant to be Sakura's replacement, but I guess people never liked her enough for him to go through with it.

That and I thought she was going to be a way to tie Naruto and Sasuke together 5eva. Sasuke marries and Uzumaki and then has a child tying the two bloodlines together.

Quite honestly, I am very disappointed in Kishimoto as a storyteller.
 
This ending was rushed, and there were so many random developments and pairings that had no build-up.  Some didn't even make any sense at all.  He also committed a complete character assassination of both Naruto and Sakura.
 
I will keep H&E running for as long as people want to post about NaruSaku, but I will not be reading any more of Kishimoto's work, nor will I be watching the Last movie.  It's just going to be Kishi's way of justifying the complete lack of NaruHina/SasuSaku development over the past 15 years.
 
This was indeed a shocking ending.  Shockingly bad.

Noone deserves an ending like that especially not the most developed pairing of this manga,

 

Nothing got concluded Sakura didnt even thank Naruto. I wont watch the movie or anything Naruto related ever again, im done with it

Sakura's story arc was that she grew more confident and responsible, to become better than she was.

And in the last two chapters, she reverts to the way she was: cleaning at home, not working at the Hokage's office... Ugh.

 

I didn't read this manga solely for the big fights and war. It was the character work and relationships that happened while the fighting was going on. And the manga totally ignored those to wrap up the fighting. Very disappointing. (I thought Orochimaru had some secret scheme going on... but I guess not.)

 

And everyone is peaceful now? I could see an *improved* system to handle the conflicts, but for the conflicts to go away?

Are we sure the Eye-in-the-Moon plan didn't work?

 

Whoever suggested that this might have been drawn and narrated by another man than Kishi could have a point. This is almost unrecognisable from the manga we know. 

I agree with this. These recent chapters are more like the anime filler writer's work, instead of the better stuff Kishi has done in the past.

The ending was a cop-out, but their journey was still there.

someone please tell me...are we being salty? are we the only Naruto fans upset?? Did we read it wrong or something??...I don't even wanna ship anythhing anymore that was too horrible...and the other characters...omg :( tf?

um we are salty but its justified. My mind is running through all those hints and parallels like no. What was all of that for??? Tygra and Cheetara was my otp for the 2011 thundercats show and while i was happy they were together, i eventually admitted it was done poorly. Nothing to do with Lion-O, and everything to do with almost no forshadowing before the last two eps of the first half. Some T/C shippers were mad right off the bat tho so who knows. Personally im not about to go find out. lol
