The fact that we saw Naruto's right hand bandage three months ago (sketch for the last movie) means this chapter was made before three months   

 

 

And actually being stabbed is still worse than everything you listed. There's difference between violence attempt and actual violence.

 

He insulted and tortured Sakura  everytime , but he never did that to Karin lol

I really, really don't care how rushed or badly written it is, I just want NaruSaku to be canon in the manga, damn it.

I understand wanting payoff for all the years of shipping it, but is it really worth it if people look at this pairing and see just a badly written convenience? I expected NS to be a pairing everyone would eventually warm up to, not something that looks like a last minute decision to spite NH/SS fans.

Thing is, Sasuke never has flashbacks or had a specific thought with people other than Naruto and itachi. So we don't know where sasuke places sakura as a bond
A part of the family is even more ambiguous especially naruto promise, hagamoros love comment and the all likelihood that sasuke now can embrace emotions other than brotherhood and comradery

Well, considering Sasuke's actions, and what he has said about Naruto and Sakura, and how he views Naruto as the only one he cares about, I'd say we know pretty clearly where he places her.

Can we all just stop for one moment about shipping and realize Naruto finally, after so long of trying, has gotten back Sasuke?

It's the opposite, the movie was already scriptured at the end of last year. There was an interview which stated that, I can't remember which one it was unfortunately.

I concur. I'm not sure though if the discussions are less focused on Naruto's victory because it was ... not anti-climactic, but just an unexpected end to it all. So many of us are used to smash and bash endings in shonen mangas where, whether they advocate it or not, might makes right and the hero wins the day by physical force. It may not be satisfactory to all or even realistic to some, but Naruto, through his determination and guts has changed every one. I for one am glad that he didn't win simply by defeating Sasuke. It is clearly his victory, because he could've and would've kept going and Sasuke was just done. 

 

NOW show us how he changed Sakura's heart, Kishi!

I wish I could see more of NaruSasu tag team combo fights. Too bad the manga ends with their reconciliation They are such an awesome tag team, one beyond recognition. They don't have to say it out loud....they just get the strategy by looking at each other. They don't require any special tag team training with their chakra mixing and stuff. It just comes to them naturally. Oh! And that cherry on the cake was Susanoo and Kurama fusion! Totally badass. We can definitely say that their tag team is the strongest and shares the best dynamics out of every tag team out there. I mean...just loom at em'!

Seriously....their tag team outclasses any tag team in history! A fight between HashiMada and NaruSasu would be.....priceless!

It's not that I don't Kishi can pull it off, I mean, just look at how he handled Sasuke's turn in 698 and how we learned he has always been thinking of Naruto in one way or another since they were kids, but the pairing war is something I just want done and over with it once and for all.

Say what you want about "trying to repress hidden feelings", but Sasuke's overall treatment of Sakura this whole war arc, part two in general really, shows that he doesn't consider her important at all.

If Sakura had such a high place in his heart to be a love interest, he'd have tried to kill her along with Naruto instead of making sure she was out of the way.

Maybe as Sakura is healing Naruto, he's close to dying or something and he decides to confess to her now that he's fulfilled his promise to her, but he's using up all the strength he has to do it and she says one of the cliché "Save your strength" lines through tears or something and before she can give an answer (although I don't think he'd get one straight away) he passes out (but it looks like he dies)

If Sakura had such a high place in his heart to be a love interest, he'd have tried to kill her along with Naruto instead of making sure she was out of the way.

But instead of realizing that, people pretend like he hasn't done anything wrong and that his actions and words mean nothing, and that he actually cares for her, when he doesn't. And then they say that Naruto's feelings are a joke and all that jazz lol

The only person that filled his existence, as acknowledged by Sasuke himself, was Naruto. He doesn't care a bit for Sakura and Kakashi.

Didn't they also have the movie planned out/slated for production as early as 2012, if what I researched online is correct? Anyway, even beside that, it was obvious that Kishi had a definitive plan for wrapping things up for quite some time and just had to realize it during these past 1-2 years, at least, if I understood correctly.

An important thing is how quickly he discarded those bonds. Kakashi tried to placate him and convince him to calm down, but he didn't listen and ended up running away. There obviously was the whole incident with Sakura's confession as he was leaving, as well. The interesting thing is that before he really slipped into the darkness, I can think of at least one instance in which he thought about Team 7, but it was Naruto's name that brought all those memories back, which indicated that even then, it was his bond with Naruto that kept him tethered to everything else and that had to be broken, if he wanted to continue what he wanted to do.
