What I'm trying to say is that not everyone is as touched about this scene as we were. I don't know about the others in this forum... They don't mention Hide a lot, and I usually only mention him towards you. Hide is for many people too underrepresented and a character having been created solely to take the path of the tragic best friend of the MC T_T

Yes, it is really interesting how Ishida decides Sasaki's awareness of his past. And like Chibi- Review said: Choosing the 11th November for the auction day, is a highly symbolic/ foreshadowing meaning. It's some kind of memorial day for the dead people in Japan...? Anyways, I think that we'll get to find out about Sasaki's past sooner than we think.

That's a good point, kind of forgot about it before. Eto is w/out the strongest- and shortest- character in this story so far.

Btw, do you think that Touken parallel Touka's parents and moreover Yoshimura/Kuzen & Ukina up to a certain degree?

Hmmm. I'm not really sure. I don't really know much about the relationship between Yoshimura and Ukina. It wasn't really elaborated on, so I can't really make that judgement. The same could be said about Touka's parents, but her father did say she was a lot like her mother, so I guess it could be...

My thoughts to episode 4

Finally the fighting has started, imao.

They are trying to keep some of the fights and elements from the manga in the anime.

What I personally thought was a very interesting scene is that Ayato vs Shinohara fight. A lot of people kind of missed the fact that Shinohara's armor was made from Arata's Kagune, Touka's and Ayato's father. The only time we were given Arata's name was on the wedding ring Touka had (when did she get that one anyways?). But the way Ayato said it:" Oh, I get it. So that's where you are... my lousy Pop." Of course, it could mean that he knows now what happened to Arata. But I remember having read somewhere a theory that Arata is still alive and being kept in the CCG to produce Kagunes.

Kaneki is going wild with this centipede scene! But I don't understand why now. Somehow the situation he is in right now is not fitting enough.

That ending had some wonderful pics from the characters when they used to be kids.

Btw, I've noticed that TG Root A often ends with a certain emotional track... I feel like getting the soundtrack XD

I'm laughing when I think about the fact where these fights take place. In the manga, the fights took place in the basement of Kanou's mansion, but here it's in Cochlea. How convenient to have all groups coming together in here XD

Not surprisingly, Kaneki is still good, but he better have a good motif for joining Aogiri Tre :/

kittening SP. Like I said, the only good animated anime from them right now in my opinion is Akatsuki no Yona.
