Next chapter is where NS could shine. Sakura can give him another hug, pat him on the shoulder, hold his hand or just simply just ease his pain. This is an area that i'm hoping kishi will finally resolve because Sakura was hardly there for him when Jiraiya had passed away. The last thing I want to see is a time skip over the mourning of Minato's passing.
Yeah, it's very possible that Sakura would console him. I tink next chapter is where everyone will think on what to do next.

NH had already got a chapter 615. It's going to make NS look even bad if he skips or decides not to let Sakura console him like she had done in the past. Many of her anti-fans hate her because of that and picture Hinata doing it better.
I think the confession would happen when naruto goes back to konoha.
He needs to man up first.

Still ... I have a feeling something still needs to happen between sakura and sasuke (and maybe Naruto) before he'll confess.

I think you're expecting Sakura would console him next chapter which may not happen...
Sakura always encourage, cheers for him and console him when she can, and this fact alone concerning NS, which 615 won't undermine NS. There's no threat at all to NS.

Before one of their strong suites waa that they believe Hinata was similar to Kushina. Now they think, since Naruto stated this, that Naruto was thinking about Hinata because she is kinda different from his mother lmao
double standard everywhere, still in 2014 happening.
guys, why should he say that he's working hard if Hinata is already in love with him since years?? It doesn't make any sense if he was talking about Hinata. Naruto didn't change the subject because he is hesitant or whatever but because it's complicated and not has been settled yet. He never confessed to a girl. If she was talking about Hinata, he would have never said "I am working hard!!" either.
Other important thing... If Kishimoto was gonna keeping to make NH canon, so why didn't make Minato acknowledge Hinata as probable Naruto's girlfriend somehow when he came there? Why Kishimoto put Sakura near to Naruto just when his father was coming? Coincidence? I don't think so.
If I was Kishimoto and I was going to make NH canon, then I would have made a different choice. I would have madre sure that Minato was aware of Hinata. In Japan (like in any other part of world) having the approval of the parents in law is kinda precious.
I mean, Minato is gone without even knowing Hinata. He knew during the war only 3 new people: Sasuke, Sakura and Lee.
now what he will say to Kushina in the afterlife regarding naruto and women??
Minato"Kushina, you know... Naruto told me that he could have found a woman who is not like you but...don't worry, he is trying to work hard!! I knew a girl, Sakura i guess, who Naruto presented her as his "girl-friend". She is kinda like you but whatever... she is not girlfriend, just a girl-friend."

If I were a NH fan I would be pissed off about the fact that Minato didn't interact with Hinata when he had the chance. And even more pissed off to see him interact with the rival ship. AH!
