Oh, ofc! My point was that this "sudden realization of feelings" is something you meet often in Japanese culture when it comes to love, so to speak.

Makes you wonder what's the next big NS moment that's gonna happen, given Kishi's track of having an NS moment after other pairing moments. :)

Ohhh yes, I knew I was missing something before the forehead kiss, lol! Yeah, my bet is on a direct parallel. I know it doens't help NS with anything special, just another pointer towards the end pairing, however, Kishi sure loves his parallels and until all them are closed off, we won't see the definitive move between Naruto and Sakura.
It's like.. they need the cycle (circle, put it as you wish) to be done so that then they can move to themselves, so to speak, and this is where: enter forehead kiss, as this is a Naruto and Sakura move of themselves.

Hey everyone! So can we talk about how Sakura is losing pieces of her uniform the more we progress through these latest chapters? The headband and the vest? And Kishi seems to make a pretty big deal out of both of them? Do you think this is leading into something? Do you think it symbolizes something? I'd really like to hear your opinions!

 

There's an interesting theory somewhere that goes on about how the removal of these accessories represents her shedding the symbols of nationalistic bias and generalised society. The burnings could symbolise the difficult hurdles that she's overcoming in her efforts. Sakura isn't just another soldier in a coalition's joint military group - she's a person of independent interests who is pursuing her own goals of fighting and providing for her closest friends, her teammates, in a battle set apart in another world against another enemy than the one that the Alliance was fighting.

 

It's mostly conjecture, but I do like the concept of Sakura "transcending" the mundane duties of a simple soldier and distinctively acting in a battle against the extraordinary with extraordinary allies/her friends.

I agree with luffyq1 that we need something more concrete than parallels. We already have so many that's hard to keep track of, some of which Kishi hasn't even confirmed (like the Yahiko/Konan)

Well, with the Ame orphans it could go both ways, you know? The point there was that both Yahiko and Nagato were some sort of Narutos, only that Nagato turned into a some sort of Sasuke, because if we notice, after Naruto's battle with Nagato he starts to understand Sasuke and his revenge motives.

Oh no doubt. I'm only saying that the parallel is the reconfirmation of the story direction, so doing that right now will ruin all others and that's just reconfirmation. A moment would make them do Hulk Hogan on their shirt for each passing moment. It's that bad. But don't think we don't need a moment. It's what build this foundation in the first place.

And the reason I watched him was because at first he seemed funny and I wanted to know how the other fandom sees things.

He basically had a nervous breakdown over the Obito/Tobi reveal. And instead of telling his viewers why Obito/Tobi was bad, he made a video in which he talked a lot of nonsense, that doesn't really tell us why it was a bad choice.

 

His followers are a real piece of work. I remember debating on his channel years ago, and well I don't really need to tell you how debating on YouTube with people that blindly follow what someone tells them, right?

 

PS. The thing I don't really like about this guy is that he isn't really good at reviewing a story. Since he doesn't really know how a story should be written, what goes and doesn't go in a story, etc. What he does is basically a summary of what happened, combined with his thoughts.

Very true. Especially since they are somewhat vocal in supporting the more popular pairings. Hence the vast following they are getting.
