Nostradamus@ true story I am sicked with the fandom putting Hinata as the most important and relevant character in the story, might as well re-name the manga to "Hinata" and the anime" Hinata shippuden". They can't understand is just a side character not important to the story, if she dies what will it effect the plot??? Nothing except for the fact that it will make Neji's sacrifice for nothing, but other than that nothing of the story will change. She will never be the heroine, much less Naruto's love interest she will remain as pairing fodder and plot device. If the fandom won't acknowledge that 678 chapters has never shown romantic interest towards Hinata then there's no point in debating with them. Its a lost cause and a waste of time.

Exactly. I personally stopped debating with them a long time again. Instead what I do when I write one of my "famous" rants is I post it and they can read it or not and if they chose to reply, I read what they have to say and ignore them.

You know...even for fanfiction purposes, Hinata has to be made to go OOC to confess to Naruto. With the way she currently is, it just impossible to give a perfect relationship to both of them. Whereas, for NS it is just Sakura recognizing her true feelings and her knowing clearly whom she loves. Its just these two factors. Even for ff purposes, NS is a better choice.

Yup nailed it, Sakura haters always try to make it sound like all she cares about is Sasuke, but they all seem to forget how during the Chunin exams, when Ibuki said if you get the last question wrong they will be stuck as Genin forever, Sakura's only thought was how it would affect Narutos chances of becoming Hokage and was prepared to quit, for his sake, you read the chapter and her only thought was Naruto and his dream to become Hokage...if I think about it that might have been the moment in the anime I became a NaruSaku fan. She became the first person (after Iruka) who believed in his dream.

I did notice the lack of Hokage robe on Naruto, but didn't compare it to Tsunade's dream, it was a interesting comparison.

Then again knowing the fandom fan fiction won't be enough, NS canon in manga means the Apocalypse. Go to youtube if you don't know what I'm talking about. Yeahh I don't see that happening, like in Harry Potter fandom, fans still rage about Harry/Hermione not being canon, even though it was obvious from the first book, it was always planned as Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny. The Naruto fandom has even more reason to rage here because Kishi keeps on teasing certain pairings, SasuSaku, NaruSaku, SasuKari, and NaruSaku, Kishi likes to tease each of the fandoms. Even if you think the fandom has been killed off you can never be certain, look at SasuKari, Kishi literally put a lightning bolt through that pairing, and now look at it, it appears to be the strongest pairing for Sasuke.

 

SasuSaku will only happen if Kishi wants it to happen, not because he has shown in the manga why it should happen, or show it makes sense, I've read/watched stories in the past where certain pairing hapen just because the creater wanted it to happen, yet they never showed why that pairing ever made sense in the first place.

 

LOL Sue Kishi for not complying to the preconception of the person reading his manga...oh that's hilarious. As long as Kishi shows us why the NS pairing makes sense, which he has done all the way through, then they don't have reason to complain and curse the creater, but humans don't work that way, specially fanboys/girls, their logic surpasses those of human comprehension.

Damn... I just really love the ShikaTema in this chapter. Been a shipper since FOREVER. So getting this marriage possibility just blew me up into confetti.

 

And I find it VERY VERY VERY RIDICULOUSLY CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTEE that the English Dubb voice actors of both Shikamaru and Temari are shippers themselves, that they had to play around with a proposal scene!!

Kishi sure hates SS. Seriously, he does. I mean holy crap. Think about it. He didn't even show mercy on the movie, a freaking movie that could have just left for fun. NOPE. The guy hates SS. I never seen a mangaka going full fledged detail on how bad SS is today. I mean damn.

I think he set the story up so Sakura would move away from Sasuke throughout the course of the story and towards Naruto

Well, he sure didn't need to do it in the movie. I even predicted that rose scene was the last time to see him and Sakura interacting. NOPE.

Well if you think about it even Naruto's dream is "selfish". And I say this because in the beginning it was selfish but over time it became selfless. He wants to be Hokage not just for himself but in order to also help other people.

Why does he want to be Hokage now that I think about it?

The whole reason he wanted to do it was to get everyone's respect and he did that after defeating Pain, when he actually becomes Hokage there's gonna be a lot of work that he's probably not cut out for, doesn't help that his future advisor is lazy even in his perfect dream world.

Because it's his way of life. He was selfish and aim too high but now, the idea of protecting his people is worthy of Hokage. Again, he could go for god, but he's a man of his word. He's not that egomaniac, just a simple man with a simple goal in life.
