Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.

Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.

I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

If that wasn’t for the romance I would love her character but even with that I will always have a soft spot for her, I can't bring myself to hate her when it's Kishi's writing who is at fault.

If SS were to happen, I find it would be very hard for me to appreciate her as a character, not only because she will have regressed as a character, but also I feel like she will have used Naruto's feelings for her own gain, and then stepped over him. I'm not sure if I could ever like that.
