This chapter reminded me of the below scenes.
-Rock Lee jumping in the Forest of Death, fighting the sound ninjas to protect Sakura with a "I'll protect you with my life."
Sakura thanking him in the end saying, "Thank you. Because of you I feel as I have gotten stronger."
-Sakura screaming to Sasuke, during the Sasuke vs. Orochimaru battle in the Forest of Death, "Sasuke-kun! At least Naruto is not a coward, right!?" and giving Sasuke courage.
-Sakura hugging Sasuke from behind when he got the curse mark, wishing he will stop. And he did get over that curse mark power.
In the end of Part 1, he told her "Thank you" and laid her on the bench (probably bridal style).
These are all scenes where the person gets a grateful acknowledgement from the person they love for supporting and giving courage to said person.
The person being acknowledged finally gets to know that they are acknowledged, and even if their feelings are still there, they stop actively chasing that person. (Example: Rock Lee stop asking Sakura to go out with him, Since Part 2 Sakura stopped actively pursuing Sasuke in a romantic sense, she wants him back as a teammate) The scenes may come off looking quite romantic with a genuine "thank you" and the person realizing that there was somebody else being there for them all along, but in the end, it's genuine acknowledgement. Nothing less, nothing more. It doesn't change the romance aspect of the person's feelings.
And Finally! Hinata got her "thank you" she deserves from the guy she has supported and gave courage. And as she stated in previous chapters, she WILL stop chasing him. This is just another parallel.
THIS. I had this feeling that Naruto's 'thank you' was more like "thank you for everything, bye" than "thank you we will be together now" and you gave some material to back it up

Is this true? If this is true and the japanese fandom is still this strongly believing in NS then that is great!

Noone has said anything like:
"This was just a platonic sibling moment. Naruto sees Hinata as a friend."
or
"Hinata slapped Naruto? Wow, she is so abusive."

Overall thoughts here in Video Form, but I go on for 18 minutes:
tl;dw version: Decent chapter, and everyone's jumping to conclusions we have no business jumping to. It's to get those surveys higher and make some waves in the community. Kinda like what Marvel's doing with Amazing Spider-Man #700. Man, has it been a rough week in comics for me, lol.

Nice gif

I dunno if it is Neji or the editor's stating this, but do you see where it says "Naruto... Hinata is READY to die for you" This brings up in interesting point, what if Hinata dies. She already achieved her goal of encouraging Naruto and holding his hand, she probably will fight the Juubi with Naruto, which puts her in great danger. Her character has developed at a high rate. I could very well see her dying in the act of protecting Naruto. It's definitely a possibility, and it's not that I want Hinata to die necessarily, it would just make sense if she did, and I think her death would help the story
Note: I read 615 on www.mangahere.com and it was translated as saying "Hinata is WILLING to die for you" not "READY to die for you", so this would change my belief slightly.

Yes it does, though I've never used it. Never even noticed it until now.
