Sure he will. He gets to see his bestests friends of all his bestests friends happily together and will be the godfather of their firstborn. The baby's godmother will be Naruto's sweet blushing bride Hinata, with whom he fell in love earlier in the manga work. He will get made Hokage and will have achieved his dreams. His mother and father look on from heaven and shed tears of happiness at seeing their son so mighty. It's so beautiful, isn't it?

Sasuke was pretty nice when he was willing to sacrifice his life to save Naruto from Haku's attack. Or when he supported Sakura against the Sound Nin in the Forest of Death. Or when he was willing to die so Naruto could take Sakura and run while Sasuke distracted Gaara. Or when he decided not to ruin Sakura's life by letting her tag along to the journey to evil and darkness. Or when he helped team Taka in the Killer Bee fight. Or when he teamed up with his brother to take down Kabuto. You know, those times.

Weird how different everything would be if Sasuke was born a girl, huh?

If the final twist is that Sasuke has been a girl all along, will you all convert?

*thinks of Naruto after he fails to bring Sasuke back* "I promised Naruto... I said that this time... we'd be together." *thinks of Sasuke* "I swore that... this time I'd protect both of them."
Remember, at this point in time Sasuke was still relatively normal. I think what the commenter was saying that she made her promised Naruto, while Sasuke in this situation is more of a goal than anything else.
Well it is similar to why the fandom feels sympathetic to Obito, but not Sasuke. Sasuke became genocidal because the people that were killed was his family was killed. Obito did it because a girl he had a crush on died.
Similarly in the manga, Naruto and Sasuke have a very long, complex rival/ brother relationship emphasized to the death. Sakura, on the other hand, has hardly talked to Sasuke at all; at this point in time she doesn't even know the truth about Itachi.

Depends on how you consider a character is "destroyed." What is Gaara remained a psychophathic killer for his life? What if Hinata remained as the silent wallflower? What if all the characters had no development at all?
The only person I can picture Sasuke with is Naruto, unfortunately. Even if Sakura did love him to the end.
Cannot argue with the first two, they are both legimate problems for SS. Hypotetically: If Sasuke starts showing feelings for Sakura, would you reconsider the pairing?
I know this question isn't directed at me, but I just wanted to bring up the fact that I personally won't ship them, even if Sasuke returns the feelings. He attacked her, knowing she had her back turned. It's just too similar to real life cases where women return to their abusive husbands because "he promised he'd never do it again." Those promises never last.

Then Part Two happened. Now this is when her feelings for Naruto really became more of a weakness than a strength. She became a lot more obsessive over him than before (Funny because she used to stalk him lol) and sees being more important than anything else in the world. This is exactly why Hinata isn't developing. She's so Naruto-centric now, it's hard to even remember her other goals anymore. There hasn't been one mentioning of them. Only " This time, I'll hold your hand and walk with you. Naruto-kun, wait for me!" What else is there to her character now besides Naruto? Hate to say it but Hinata more layers in Part 1. Or, at least more potential. Hinata did develop a bit. She's a lot more confident than she used to be and is no longer studdering. The fact that she confessed and now wants to be with Naruto shows this. But it's really much more a libability now than it used to be.
That's my take on it.

Y'know, this leads to my opinion on the whole Hinata glorification in the anime. In part I, Hinata started off as a strong character compared to Sakura who was mostly bland. So, I can understand where the NH fans are coming from. For some people, first impressions are everything. Then filler hell happened. If you were an animation producer, which one would you choose?? pretty obvious who the choice is. Pierrot had to make the gap widen between the anime and manga at that time. But seeing as they did not know how Sakura's character would grow, they had to pick the other female character who stands out the most and that's why they chose Hinata.
Finally, Part II happened. Sakura started off stronger while Hinata faded to the background. But now in the last arc, it's flipped again. I'm confused as to what's Kishi's game here is.

It may mean he's less keen on murder, but not necessarily more keen on romance.
A man hunts down a lot of people, kills them for his enjoyment and to fulfill his existence. One day some guy talks to him and he changes his ways. Do you or do you not elect this guy to lead your local goverment? Because that's Gaara. These people have forgiven worse than Sasuke. They have literally forgiven and befriended massmurderers. This is not real life. In this comic people forgive horrible things and killers change their ways because teenage boy gave them a pep talk.
The Narutoverse isn't a democracy, Gaara was chosen by the people in power to control him. This was specifically stated in the manga. Then he won the trust of his village.

Or Sasuke will die a horrible death and everybody will gather around his carcass to mock him. Who knows. It's all up to Kishi, of course.
Sasuke will be married to a person he doesn't love, happy ending?

I really felt that one.

And for a more cheerful mood here's a pic of Sasuke and Sasuko (his female version):

Sasuko, the cutest avenger in history.

SS stopped when part 2 started, as you can see from your examples of SS, none come from part 2.

Wow! Those were my favorite couples too!

@Codus N: Completely agree

Hinata really, truly is the Filler girl. And it's not an exaggeration. She is the epitome of "Filler Heroine." And it originally made sense because Hinata was displayed in a much more flattering and pitying light. Now it's just stupid fanservice because Sakura is so much better than her IMO. In this recent arc, it did flip. Hinata is getting more focus than Sakura but who really knows how long it'll stay that way? The Sakura/Rin parallel is an entirely obvious direction to take Sakura's character. At this point, I'm pretty sure Kishi's trying to resolve Hinata's character development & NaruHina simulaneously so it's out of the way. How is the question we're all asking lately. Some of us are even worried.

Earlier? If he ever starts to show feelings for hinata, it would have to be at the very end of the manga since were nearly at the end.

I get what you say, but the story of the female hero and the male anti-hero is already way overused. Not to say it isn't appealing, but reversing the roles looks way more refreshing to me.
Is not common to see stories of a male hero that falls in love with the female rival. Usually it's the girl that's associated with the side of light, so it would be a nice change of pace to see the girl being the dark one.
