No need to stand to they're level. Let's just wait for the movie...for all we know NaruSaku may already be cannon by then. The movie may come out right on the time when the anime catches up to the ending of the manga. They do some fillers, and then release the movie.

Great job. It also further clarifies in Japanese that it just two people- see the kanji that is just two lines then the kanji next to it that looks like legs walking? The one with two lines means two, the one that looks like legs walking means person or persons. Two people, not a group.

Well, Naruto being with his parents in any shape or form is my fanfiction dreams come true. It makes me sad that it'll only be an illusion and all.

I'm still really excited about the strong possibility of Sakura and Minato working together to try to break the genjutsu. That's been a wish of mine that Sakura could work along side Minato on a problem, since they think in somewhat similar styles. I'd love to see Naruto working with his mom, learning to use the Uzumaki chakra, and Sakura working with Minato.

He can break the genjustsu, but I think he'll be too distracted to come up with a plan to break it. I don't think Naruto is stupid, but Sakura is listed as a main character for once, so has a role in this too. We all know he's stupid, but genjutsu is not his strong point, especially not genjustsu that someone like Madara has thrown him in.

But does this make him dumb? No. :/

Because Sakura has already been shown to be able to see through genjutsu (part 1, Chunin exams), have a natural resistance to Kabuto's sleep jutsu, which, is essentially a type of genjutsu (part 1, beginning of the invasion arc), break another person out of Itachi's genjutsu (part 2, search for Gaara arc). She is exceedingly intelligent in a similar fashion to Minato. Sakura and Minato are the ones most likely be trying to figure out how to break the genjutsu- brainstorming ideas back and forth, pointing out the weakness in the other's idea, then quickly throwing out other ideas. (Neither think of "50 different options at once" like Shikamaru, but that's a plus in another way- both can immediately develop and shift to plan B, if plan A goes wrong. Shikamaru has to pause and sift through all those options.) Naruto isn't really a preplanner at all, but he quickly became quite adept at the second part of how Sakura and Minato think. What would make the most sense is that Sakura and Minato will hash out the preplanning part of the action. Kushina and Naruto will hash out how the Uzumaki clan skills can work with and enhance Minato and Sakura's plan.

thats like saying..why cant naruto heal? ......okay not really........but naruto's weak point is genjutsu.......hes not good at it XD.....his stats say hes only 2 on genjutsu....

so i think sakura will take care of that XD (shes 3.5)

Exactly - this is playing exactly into Sakura's strengths, and conversely into Naruto's weaknesses. Thus, even though Sakura can't compete with Naruto power wise, her other abilities allow her to play a crucial role in the action - freeing them from the genjutsu.

This also showcases that even though she is not as powerful as Naruto, she compliments him extremely well in regards to abilities, and thus makes an invaluable teammate for him.

Lets not jump the gun on this movie, yet. Yes, Naruto and Sakura are obviously going to be central to the plot, but its not as if them working together is unusual or surprising. They are friends and teammates who often go on missions together in the manga, etc. We don't really know if this means we'll get any romantic fan service.

Yep. Naruto has talked about it in the manga too that he has no skills with genjutsu, and even breaking himself out of one is extremely difficult. Where Sakura showed some skills in dealing with that as far back as later part 1. Plus her second inner self was shown to be able to break mental possession abilities way back in part 1.
