What makes it canon?
Naruto did not hold hinata's hand for romantic purposes what screw logic is hinata taking the main's heroine spot.

IF holding Naruto's hand like she did is meant to be her final development so shall it be.

I'll take NH as canon after this arc is done.

Well you repeat this after the arc is done.
Because for some reason i think there's something there, because he said that sakura is a main character but hinata did more heroish things and deserve the spot after this chapter but, if what he said is true i'm expecting some plot no jutsu, the only hopes for NS is the end of this arc so let's see, like you said everything is possible, everyone think like that on Pain's arc.

Like i said i'll wait for the end of this arc in one chapter kishi give chances to NaruHina at the expense of putting a heroish hinata overriding Sakura but after all the things he said about Sakura, and showing her in almost all the chapter there's a possibility that he will troll everyone, hinata's development is done she wanted to hold Naruto's hands and stand by his side.

He can make SasuSaku canon with AsspullLOLOLOL but still will not change the fact that the pairing is bad, the problem with hinata is the fact that a fully developed hinat is totally crushing the incomplete and lack of development sakura.

I've just...kinda stopped caring. Kabuto's disabled, Neji's dead, and NH might be legit now. This manga is almost dead to me now.

I'm not being arrogant i'm saying is, i want to see if he really give up on Sakura just it, this arc is decisive for pairing at all and it didnt ended.
A lot of people told the same on Pain's arc, the NH had a huge boost and suddenly got dropped down by Sakura hugging Naruto.

well this is fan pairing after all, and this is a website with the focus of ns so to say it's arrogant in it's own fan pairing website is wrong for me.

what happen to us is no different with what happen in hinata confession chap and this time naruto response.

now this is the problem like narusaku3g point out will next(s) chapter naruto will declare his love to hinata or turn it down.

who knows. at this time only kishi now. and thats why there are no interview in jumpfiesta 2013

I'm not saying NaruSaku is neccessarily dead. That's pushing it a bit too far. But we have to legitly consider it as a possibility. If Naruto shows more romantic feelings for her that doesn't include hand-holding through gathering chakra, then we can scream "NaruSaku is DEAD! This manga is RUINED!". I'm feeling extremely angry, slightly betrayed, and negative/critical of Kishimoto right now because of chapter 615. I'm not very reasonable right now tbh xD but my level-headed side is meekly saying "Don't give up!"


And here's the irony I just realized: NaruHina is screaming canon because of hand-holding while NaruSaku has had two hugs. Funny, isn't it?

So you've gone numb? Well you've given good reasons to feel that way in my opinion. I too, am almost 100% devoid of NS. Currently at 79%.

Decisive or not, NH is winning and NS is currently eating its dust.

For events like these, boy am I happy that I don't read the manga just for the pairings.

I feel this is why people really shouldn't be so sure of the future they don't know about, especially when it comes to Kishi. All we have is what we read, if you were confident before this chapter (because you understood the balance of pairings shift often, nothing is set in stone, and other pairings moments were bound to happen because this isn't the end of the manga), then you should be just as confident now.

I said before that NH was at about... 500 and NS was at 1000 or 3000 or something like that? Very vague estimation. I'd say now that NS is still at 3000 (they haven't moved forward or backwards of late) and NH has been boosted to about 1000 or 1500. Maybe a bit more than that. Again, the numbers have nothing to do with what will be canon, these are just personal estimations on their standing within the manga universe. No one knows what will be canon except Kishi.

I know I'm seeming incredibly negative right now, but there are people actually congratulating NH on NF. I may think anything is possibly in this manga, but I'm not so blind as to ignore the obvious fact that happened in this chapter.

I think she was witnessing all those deaths and the battlefield not naruto and hinata scene.
the obvious was hinata's development but the problem here is not the what they call NH i dont care but sakura terribly losing her spotlight.
I could say that her development is complete, i knew that she would confront naruto someday since that path of radiance but still there are things missing, for Sakura.
that's why i want to wait the end of this arc.

And when Hinata was stroking Naruto's face, giving her speech, Sakura had a different facial expression. Shocked as hell but also bordering on disturbed at the same time. Plus, it was a panel of only Sakura. I'm pretty sure it means something.

Completely agree. I don't think I can even last a day with this terrible doubt about NaruSaku becoming canon. Kishi, you evil, evil bastard ... why did you do this to us?
