Overjoyed with all the NaruSaku, but was there any SasuHina in this movie? It would be a bonus.

True. Doesn't mean I can't enjoy some of the NaruHina fan's arguments that it's filler and it doesn't count when the movie was so obviously NS with Kishi behind it. Some NH arguments are really entertaining, XD especially Sawyer's followers.

I know. I'm just saying that SS got it bad while NS always look nice and passionate. Now I know why people thought differently after the movie was released. If I watch this movie, I would rethink everything and see NS as the one to be canon at the end.

I can't wait to watch as a whole. I know there's a lot of scenes I have already seen, but I have to see the whole thing to make a unbiased thought. One thing I will say is the emotion displayed from Naruto and Sakura are great. Again, the fence scene is one of the better highlight because you can see how much they feel inside without talking to each other or even speaking. I like when animation/art does these techniques to demonstrate the emotion, rather than stating the obvious or feeling forced. It's all genuine.

Indeed. I'll wait for subs to go into complete thought, but even without understanding a thing, I felt like I understood everything. Even with the animation bad in some parts, they did the emotions SO well. When Naruto hugged Kushina and he returned home to them and everything, his face and the hesitation, they displayed it so well. It was so touching. I hope someone makes gifs of his faces. Rarely do we see that kind of emotion in manga anymore.

I loved it when Sakura ran up to her parents at the end and did a little jump hug towards them. I would have loved to see that from the front. And the look they gave her when she was sniffing up and wiping her eyes before turning to Naruto was real sweet and loving. Daw, I want to find a Naruto fic with a little Naruto and Sakura with their families and all the cute family moments.

Of course, I couldn't help but think "BUTT CRACK" when they showed all the dudes in the bath. I was surprised none of the girls had any real reaction to seeing all the guys shirtless and everything, but maybe they see that often. (Training and whatnot, Naruto's done it before)

I wish the movie were longer. I wanted more time for development of Naruto and Sakura and more time for Naruto with his parents. I think some others in the fandoms, especially the opposing ones, miss the fact that both Naruto and Sakura are downgraded in maturity at the beginning of the film on purpose so that there was room for them to grow (which they did a LOT of in this movie)

One last thing, instead of those stupid fillers with a bunch of random OC's and repeated plots, they should take this idea and run with it. I would be so much more interested in AU driven plots or actual character expansion rather than the crap they come up with (For example, it would be cool to have a few episodes more of Minato and Kushina and how they got together or something, or maybe back in the says when Jiraiya was teaching a little Minato 8D Even the fillers with little Naruto were fun) But this, this is something super fun. It shouldn't be too hard to make up something that would put them into an AU. Naruto and Sakura could be having some wild dream with all this happening in it or something. I don't know. XD *sigh*

Well, it was fun while it lasted. I hope they take a hint now and try to make the movies more... relevant.

Just finished the movie, and I did enjoy it. The NaruSaku bits were sweet and well placed. I have to say my favorite moment was when Naruto watched Sakura fight Menma.

True about the animation, but it seems like Kishi wants to do on the facial expressions more importantly than anything else and you know what, I'm really happy about it. All the expressions are truly nice. I really like the last scene with his parents because you can tell Naruto wanted to cry but stood strong. I love Sakura's expressions in this movie because knowing her being an emotional character, you can easily tell how much she cares for Naruto. I noticed that every moments that Naruto has with his parents, you always see her reactions. Best one was the last one because you can tell she feel so emotional as he does. It's as if they are connected without knowing. I remember an animation with one guy displaying 5 different expressions and they were great.

It is true that we don't get that much like that anymore, which is why I want to end the arc we're in now. Though I do like the display of Sasuke regret feeling when Hiruzen told him that Itachi's story is true. Other than that, I want more of those. Those are Kishi's strong points and I want more as soon as we end this arc or at least have some during it. Anyway, I can already tell that this movie is great.

Lol that will be desperate. Hinata did it to snap out of him since he kept staring nowhere. Minato, however, hit him for being so reckless. Completely different. But oh well, they have to gain something.

Naruto wasn't exactly reckless while fighting Obito, he just had a weak moment and was temporarily defenseless combined with a mental breakdown because Neji just died on his shoulder and lay dead in front of him.

Minato, on the other hand, slapped Naruto because he was just being ridiculous in general. Yeah, I'm sure he had it and everything and I feel like he was saying something along the lines of "She shouldn't have jumped out in front of me like that! I can handle myself!" (I believe this was meant to show that Naruto never had parents to protect him before, he didn't think anyone would jump in front of him like that, part of his growth within movie canon) And of course, Minato knocked some sense into him. Honestly, it was painful to watch and the Korean VA voice got all shaky and everything (Naruto's that is) and then the hug right after.... *has a family tard moment*

Anyway, completely different situations and different reasons for slapping him. Hinata to pull him out of a temporary depressions hole, Minato to calm him down and knock some sense into him (for probably speaking a little badly about his mother jumping in front of him).

Believe it or not when I asked him about the movie he admitted the focus of NS (which I was surprised). I guess even fans like him can see the big picture. And even if he will think the movie is filler not caring that Kishi was behind it, he won't admit anything until the manga proves him otherwise (so all the NS development shown doesn't ring a bell to him).
