Kishi pulled those words out of his butt. Or maybe then he meant it but later changed his mind. If that confession was honest, why did Sakura still love Sasuke in 693 and 699 ? She loved two guys at once did she? Kishi said one thing and did the complete opposite. By making her not even talk to Naruto and instead fawning over Sasuke, he killed her character development. It gave the horrible impression that Sakura was simply using Naruto the whole time.

Yea because Nsruto did stuff for her she is totally obligated to marry,sleep and bare his children as a reward for his suffering AMIRITE? Nothing sexist or wrong about that at all...

The fact is she confessed, he called her a liar in front of everyone they knew and did it in a pissed off manner. He then calls her his GF in front of his dead daddy and proceeds to wimp out on doing what he said he would do.

He clearly didn't care as much as we thought.

I'm not saying Sakura didn't goof up, but Naruto has his share of blame for falling flat himself.

That's why he drinks and neglects the kids he can't handle the guilt

Everything's pretty on point though. Naruto hasn't reciprocated Hinata's feelings for 2 years lmao. They needed a stupid plot device to push them together. HAHAHA. NH is seriously as big of a joke as SS.

Also some interesting info about Kishi's assistants being Hinata fans . Are you guys sure that link-papa guy is not also one of them ? It would make sense why he said he heard Kishi himself say back in 2010 that there is no heroine in the manga .

I don't think Sakura using Naruto is the right way to see it. Her intention in confessing wasn't to use him for anything but to make up for whatever wrongs she did against him  that Sai pointed out and also to protect him by, therefore, giving up on Sasuke. And that's just another thing I don't understand....I'm supposed to believe that Sakura has this undying love for Sasuke. Yet...there have been three occasions where she was ready to just stop chasing after him. The hospital scene at the end of part 1. The scene after the bridge scene where Naruto is obviously hurt and she suggests giving up on the ONLY lead they had on Sasuke after so long. And then there's the confession scene....

She was only trying to manipulate him and use his feelings for her. Everyone knows she did it for his good but it still doesn't change the fact that it was a fake confession and she was in love with Sasuke all that time. The mangaka really butchered her character.

If I knew it was gonna end this badly before, I would support open ending. I was one of the people that wanted pairing resolution at the end of the manga, but what was given to us was the pinnacle of sh*tty endings.

I personally took Kishi's "portraying an honest girl" to mean that Sakura was actually telling the truth in her confession. But I'm not going to try and change your opinion about it. If you think, after feeling bad about using Naruto without realizing it, that she would continue to use him even more and also his feelings then that's...whatever. Believe what you want.

Never in real life or in fiction have i seen a character as bad,pathetic and a loser like naruto.

 

-Discarded all his ninja ways.

 

-Made his "brother" bond to kitten love story.

 

-Started trash talk which is absolute nonsense.

 

-Forgave his parents murderer,a mass murderer,obito started his rampage and caused all this for the stupidest reason ever known to even fiction.He even made him the coolest guy and sort of role model and was sad that he even cried for him twice.

 

-Most horrible birthday for a person that i've ever seen,first one made him lose his parents,made him a host and an orphan,destroyed a village.The recent one,he saw his dead father die again,had the girl he loved for so long confess to his rival,spend an entire day of his birthday fighting his rival and as birthday gift lost his limbs.

 

Naruto and birthday does not match.They are like enemies.

 

-He never became the true so6p instead there also the real MC sasuke kicked in got the major and most powerful share of power from so6p.

 

-He had to train his ass off and learn techniques whereas even for a genius sasuke continued to get asspull powerups granted.

 

-U need to be pure hearted or something like that to meet the so6p ? BS any criminal can do that,look at sasuke he did it with ease and he didn't even ask for it..

 

-Naruto Dedicated his life for a girl he loves but in the end the one who hated her,attempted murders and abused her,never loved her got her free without breaking a sweat.

 

-Always lost to Sasuke,never had a victory over him and the last battle was a draw plus unnecessary bruises and lost a limb.

 

-he suffered his entire life and for what,to only lose his girl,become a consolation prize of hokage.What a horrible fate

 

In short whatever naruto tried his best/trained/dedicated/hard worked to get or was meant for him was simply meant for sasuke,all that achieved by sasuke and he didn't even ask for it.

 

-Even his name being the name of this "manga" and him being the MC is an lie and total comedy.

Tell me who is the real champion? who is the MC? whose name is the title of this garbage ?

 

This is beyond any tragedy or horrible fate one can imagine.
