Well we just confirmed it. It's Naruto and Sasuke's child. You see when Naruto and Sasuke will clash with Chidori and Rasengan, there's going to be another black sphere like they didn't before. And boom "NS" baby.

 

On a serious note. I have no clue why that baby crying was in that OVA, or who it is or anything. It's still a mystery.

Once the movie comes out, I'll be watching with a bud light in hand, enjoying our favorite couple do couple things, while watching the other fandoms have a firestorm. With my pinky up. You gotta have your pinky up.

Things we can confirm about the movie so far:

 

- It takes place several years in the future

 

-Its "the last chapter" of the original work but the series will continue after the movie (which can mean multiple things)

 

-Naruto will have a family at some point in the movie to have moments with he wasn't able to have with Minato & Kushina

 

-Sasuke will not be the villain and will be a good guy, and will be protecting someone in Naruto's place

 

-NS will be the core part of the story

 

-There will be a villain in the movie who is targeting Konoha. 

 

What we still don't know is who the villain is, why Naruto is (probably) working at Ichiraku and if NS will be canon before or during the movie. If Mr. you know who was serious about Naruto having a family in the movie its safe to say NS will already be canon.

 

Unless we get a timeskip in the middle of the movie or if Naruto just goes up to Sakura and is all like "hey lets have millions and billions of bebes" 

and then after that

But from a marketing point of view, that's not very clever. I understand that this movie will contain serious spoilers for the manga and what not, but if they want to get profit, they have to tease a bit more than right now. We don't even know one clue what the plot is, and well, the trailers were garbage- no info at all.

tell that to dbz battle of gods, which gave a small teaser march 2013 and didn't start revealing info until near the movie coming out, except for the fact it was canon and some designs, that's it, and it was successful.
