Do you guys think Kishi would resolve all the pairings this arc? As in SS/NH/NS?

I'm not too familiar with manga (at all, lol. all I read is Naruto) so I dunno when romance is typically finalized. I've heard it's always the end of the series, but still.

I really doubt it. He still could but I just don't see any way for NaruSaku to ever be resolved until Naruto saves Sasuke.

You know, I did something I never thought I would do and never wanted to do but for some reason I can't comprehand ... I watched a NaruHina AMV on YT today (5- minute long one). Mostly in Hinata's point of view but somehow Naruto get squeezed in there (Parts that were trying to imply Naruto has feelings for Hinata ... slight annoyance). It was actually well-done but it surprised me how many of the NaruHina "moments" and interactions were fillers.


I seriously don't get why I watched and liked it, especially since I hate NaruHina. Maybe I'm feeling the charitiable Christmas spirit.

If Sakura ended with Sasuke or at the very least still wanted him to love her, how would you view Sakura for still being feisty with Naruto and yet meek with Sasuke?

With other tsunderes at least people are aware that the reason for her temper is because she's in love with the person she acts like that with and just keeps hiding her feelings. But since Sakura has feelings for Sasuke, therefore establishing the possibility that she might not love Naruto by the end, some could view her dynamic with Naruto as wrong given that she wouldn't develop romantic feelings for him.

It could be that the dislike of how Sakura has a temper with Naruto comes from the fact that since some believe she's never gonna love him that she shouldn't take that attitude with him. This is further reinforced with her meekness around Sasuke, she's naturally feisty but she never shows that side with Sasuke.

Those that dislike Sakura could maybe view her as someone that would compromise her personality in order to please the one she likes, which is viewed as a weakness.

The last time Sakura was able to interact with Sasuke under normal circumstances was in the end of Part 1, and given that Sakura has entrusted Naruto to deal with Sasuke the only way it seems they can have normal interaction back again would be near the end. I just can't imagine Sakura suddenly acting feisty with Sasuke by the end, it would feel out of nowhere given how the story progressed. At least Karin was shown to give Sasuke attitude from time to time before he betrayed her, but something like that never happened with Sakura.

Maybe if Sakura was the main character and this story had more of a shoujo atmosphere then the angst involving Sasuke and Sakura would work better, but that isn't the case. They have potential as a couple, but in this story it just doesn't work in my opinion.

I will never understand SasukexSakura's popularity. If you think about it (with out knowing that Naruto can heal fast because of the Kyuubi) Sasuke would have killed Naruto. He would have killed Sakura. He would have killed Kakashi with little hesitation. He put Sakura in awkward positions and shows no true love for her. So if they are a Sakura fan who wants Sakura to be happy, Naruto would do more then that. Otherwise there might be more people out there who like the idea of being in a abusive relationship or something. This really can't lead to happiness. To be honest if Sakura love isn't still the immature false love she had a kid or just love for a friend to have them back (at most) then I would be disappointed. Like what more does Sasuke have to do lol?? To me it sends out a bad message to everyone.

NarutoxHinata, is an odd pair, not in the way where they are uniquely different. It's that one is uniquely different while the other one is shy, quiet, and just learning to gain confidence. She has a one to a few track mind. She really doesn't know anything about Naruto and yet has love for his confidence. There maybe couples like this in the world that are happy but it is a very rare few and entertainment wise not very fun to watch in my opinion. To be honest I can't even imagine Naruto even enjoying company like that, I know I would absolutely hate it. There would be like no argument, no fun, just Hinata being obedient to Naruto's stupid whim. If Naruto were to fall in love with her, it would more like be out of desperation for the need of love and that someone loves him. It wouldn't be anything for a long term happy relationship.

What those two pairings lack NarutoxSakura doesn't. Heck at my job, the best married couple or even couples that I meet are similar to each other or act like Naruto and Sakura except with only light pats instead of Sakura's hits lol. These couples are usually married and range from young to old. I love being around these people, they actually bring some joy to my work. The best part is, that they are the majority of couples that I meet. They truly enjoy each others company.

Sorry ranting here, I hope there will be more stronger moments with Naurto and Sakura sometime sooner or later. Hopefully even one that directly or indirectly seals the deal between the two. Naruto manga has been dying down on me a little lately and I think it's been a while since we saw a good NaurtoxSakura moment.

I think maybe one reason why some fans want Sakura with Sasuke is either they don't think she deserves Naruto from how she was to him in Part 1, even if there were times she was genuinely happy to see him and genuinely concerned for him, or they just think Sakura's feelings won't change, given we've seen how much she loves Naruto, whether it's romantic or platonic. After all, we've seen her confront her feelings for Sasuke, and how terribe they make her feel during the war, considering she's seen how far Sasuke has fallen, just as Naruto has.

As for NaruHina, I imagine the appeal is to make Hinata happy, even if she doesn't know the REAL Naruto that much. Like how she wanted him to give up when he was fighting Neji and got back up after he was hit with the 8 Trigrams 64 Palms, or her worrying about him in the first encounter with Obito during the hunt for Itachi, or even in the fight with Nagato, which caused her to jump recklessly in to want to help Naruto and almost got herself killed as well as almost causing Naruto to cause more damage when he unleashed a mass amount of Kurama's chakra from seeing one of his friends almost die to protect him.

In the long haul, I am sure Kishimoto-sensei won't be too dumb to ignore NaruSaku, but given what's happening now, it'll be one HELL of a long time before we get any kind of closure. But we could use it, given how after not knowing him at all, Sakura's one of those people who knows Naruto best of all, and just wants to ease his burden and help him in any way, as well asthe fact she's worried about him but knows he can take care of himself pretty damn well. That kind of faith and trust Sakura has in Naruto while still worrying, it's the right balance, something I feel that Kishimoto-sensei hasn't developed well with Hinata since she's more of a secondary character than a deuteragonist like how Sakura evolved into.

You're right dude, Sakura was a horrible character and love interest for Naruto on part 1, some people may disagree but it's real, she didnt deserved all the things naruto did for her on part 1, Narusaku for me is a gold ending for Sakura or most likely a redemption/closure for her character, sasusaku destroy her character because we all go back to part 1, in other words kishi doing a deconstruction of her character.

And don't forget, Kishi said her bad attitude and behavior at the beginning was completely intentional. It was no mistake that Sakura was annoying and hateful at the beginning, he wanted her to be completely unlikable. I believe he did that so that it is more obvious how much she's changed.

She still smacks him around (the usual tsundereness), but now it's usually because he's actually doing something stupid and probably needed a little reprimanding. (The severity of the reprimanding is of course comic relief as it has always been) I've been thinking for a bit, was there ever a time where Sakura hit Naruto seriously like Minato did in the movie? And there was, when he came back after the Pein battle, for which she immediately gave him a hug I don't think he'd ever received before from anyone.

Anyway, my main point was most fans did right by not liking her in the beginning, but the problem with many western fans is that they don't seem the believe people can change or they hold grudges that they shouldn't be holding. (I still see a lot of people complaining about her hitting him) Nowadays, they backup their claim of Sakura being a horrible person because she tried to make Naruto go home with her at the Kage Summit with a confession. Judging by their small interactions right after that situation, no one seems to hold that against her. The only thing that really came out of the situation is Sasuke chalked up 2 attempts on Sakura life in her moment of hesitance.

I assume Kishi intention was to show that Sakura's feelings slowly change from loving Sasuke to Naruto. The issue is that Kishi isn't very good at pacing, didn't he say something like the manga is going to go on longer than he thought it would due to that? If this manga were shorter, I think Sakura's transition and everything would be much more reasonable. (for example, Kishi not knowing what to do with Sasuke other than overpower him. It seems like he and Naruto should have fought by now)

The most two common reason why some fans don't change their mind toward Sakura is because, first, they don't know that her character is tsundere which they don't know either the meaning of the word tsundere at all. The second reason is that they don't know how a manga plot progress in specific ways in both story line and characters.

Third reason is that "She can smack Naruto, but not the enemies". I used that argument to as a joke when I first got into manga. But every shonen has a girl smacking the hero. ..And that she cries when Naruto is fighting. I blame Kishi though, it's not Sakura's fault that he didn't give her any fights. But if he had, and she had lost, I would blame her. If that was the case. :3 I think fans should just cope with Kishi's intention. Her confession was also a big deal.

I just feel like if you watch Naruto and don't look into it, you'll see NH. But if you look deeper, you'll see Naruto and Sakura's bond. Kishi is playing games on us, I'm sure of it XD

^ That and I forgot that there's another reason too which, simply , is that they want Naruto to love Hinata instead of Sakura and him ending up with Hinata. Simple wish but impossible to be fulfilled.

I actually don't feel the way some of you do about Sakura in Part 1, and I'd say if she liked him like that then, I still would feel the same way now. I think she would of deserved him back then considering everything she did for him even though I don't like the 'deserve" card at all when it comes to the forming of couples and what not. Sakura started off rocky with Naruto but that quickly changed in the beginning of Part 1. Sure, she hit him but she still cared about him early on. She cheered for him, and rooted him on when no other rookie did. She believed in him and he was a source of inspiration for her. She blushed when she found out it was Naruto who went all out against Gaara and saved her. She was the one who acknowledged his dream of wanting to become Hokage and didn't want to see that dream get crushed. She acknowledged Naruto as the one person who could bring Sasuke back, and all of this was in Part 1, and this isn't even everything so to say that she doesn't deserve Naruto in Part 1 is wrong IMO considering everything they went through together and the progression they made. I shipped NS since the first time I saw that Naruto had feelings for her and he said exactly what she was thinking. From there, this was it for me and I chose correctly to ship these two awesome characters with one another.

But the things she did towards naruto she keep inside her mostly she never spits it off only after the promise, naruto saved her from gaara and she was thanking sasuke instead of Naruto and the biggest trouble was before it she recognized that Naruto was strong, my mind was full of f**cks there.
Like hinata did "recognized that naruto was strong" but cant see him receiving any kind of hit that think he's going to lose and go to sacrifice herself.
SHe was like Hinata is doing now.

Sakura was like hinata on part 1, i dont care if she said those stuff because it always it's her thinking or saying it to herself, but her actions and affection demonstrations was all around sasuke on part 1.

She only fully acknowledge naruto on the end of part 1, when her development starts.

Well it's horrible that feel.

But he didnt give up, so the problem there was that he witnessed that she really loves Sasuke, so he will only acknowledge that Sakura loves him if she proves it.
I doubt that words will convince him.
