xD Thank you. I'm working on a fanfic right now. I think I just found a way of meddling with the canon to resolve this pairing.

I still think it's all Kishi's fault. None of the characters are to blame. I mean, there were some questionable scenes like 693... but overall the story was set up for NS to become canon. He could have EASILY had Naruto confess and for Sakura to reach an epiphany about who she loves. Instead, Kishi chose to throw out 698 chapters and give us the joke that is chp. 699-700.

 

Now, we're probably going to have Kishi and SP convince us why NH/SS works. Some BS parallel is probably going to be forced in the movie between Kushina and Hinata. Some BS childhood memory. Some BS epiphany that he's in love with Hinata. Some BS confession to Sakura, only to be rejected. Some BS SS scene. Everything is BS at this point and OOC. 

 

It's NOT the character's fault that the writer chose to depict them this way. Blame the writer, not the characters. Even if NS themselves begged Kishi to make them canon, he would have destroyed their characters because he has no integrity and chose to sell out.

Well, it's Sunday, so it's like the usual day of slow and just well, a normal day. That said the podcast is now up and yes, I was among them to share my final thoughts. Though to be honest, I may have to write or speak my own thoughts because looking back, this one has things that has been held off for a while, so it's a different reaction than I didn't know until now. I guess my reactions went through the same as the ending as The Graduate: happy to what you did but realized the outcome of it and now, well your supposed happiness isn't truly there. Anyway, take a listen. Enjoy other thoughts as well, as they put out great points.

Naruto would've turned out more like Minato if he had a vivacious woman like Sakura as his wife instead.
Hinata must be boring as hell. Even in the epilogue she's dressed like a grandma. XD
At the end he chose someone safe and not prone to cheating on him. Still hate NH. >.> NS forever and ever man.

ugh, part of me already moved on from ns a bit, but i have this feeling this movie will give me another punch in the face, the oocness will be too strong for my taste, is kishi trying to torture ns fans?

It frustrates me to know end that Kishi tore away all that development Sakura made over the course of Part II. It's almost like he wanted to validate all the reasons the anti-Sakura crowd had to hate her.

What sort of ridiculous counter is this? Naruto loved Sasuke like a brother. He did everything he could to make Sasuke change his mind. And he did. Despite the huge odds stacked against him, he eventually got to Sasuke. See what I did there? xD

No. I don't see it. My initial comment was towards that fan art. Why you brought Sasuke into this I don't understand. Now you try to be clever about it and frankly I don't understand it. Basically you are making the same point as me. Naruto succeeded in changing Sasuke's feelings but he failed to change Saukra's feelings.

BTW sorry if my comments are hurting anyone, I m hurt too. I m just as frustrated with the mangaka as you guys. He ruined it all.

Sakura already gave an "honest " confession by kishi's own words.Naruto proceeded to call her a liar. he done kittened up and further goofed by not confessing, so yes his unhappiness is his own damn fault

SS was portrayed as nothing positive.  All of it was negative, ALL OF IT, and no way Kishimoto wasn't aware of that.  That it became canon is nothing but an @sspull, and craps all over Sakura's development.

Smoug XD Yeah in my first play it took me a lot of deaths to beat those kittens   But I'm still mad that my Ornstein armor doesn't have the "red ponytail" on the helmet
