Honestly, I really really wish the war ends already. This is Naruto that we all like, not constant battle after battle after battle. The interaction between them is so genuine, if you just watch it as a new fan, you would think that these two will be together in the end. It's those "ingredients" to make a couple. If this was a standalone movie, romance could easily happen at the end.

No NH, SS got trolled, and NS got so many interactions, lessons, and Sakura always think of Naruto throughout the movie. I don't even know what to think anymore.

I seriously didn't think Kishi would put a lot of emphasis on Sakura's feelings towards Naruto's developments, especially at the end. She was really sad for Naruto to see his parents going to their real son, Menma. Then when he said his speech, Sakura was heavily moved by it. Funny how Kishi managed to show how much she cares, yet no eye contact on those moments. Their love story is really something else.

Kishimoto was confirmed in a SJ Weekly issue to have done character designs of alternate characters, as well as conceptualize the story: a different world in which Naruto’s parents were still alive and everyone’s personalities had changed.

Any accrediting of the final plot, dialog, characterization, ANYTHING PRESENT IN THE ROAD TO NINJA MOVIE ITSELF, any time you say you know Kishimoto decided on or had a hand in ANY OF IT is heresay, is conjecture, it’s intellectually dishonest if you’re using it as a proof in a serious conversation or debate, it’s personally aggravating and it’s just plain stupid.

I can safely assume, with a good level of confidence, that Kishi did solely write the prequel comic, however… although it’s still not canon, of course."



But of course it wasn't Kishi himself who wrote the script .. the mangaka doesn't write the scripts for a movie .. scriptwriters exist for that ( As far as I know .. things work that way: The mangaka and the screenwriter have a meeting so that the mangaka can say what he wants to see in the movie, the main topics to be addressed and such .. and based on this briefing, the screenwriter writes the script for the movie and then it is approved (or not) by mangaka .), But probably was Kishi who gave the ideas and said that he wanted to see in that movie and of course ... everything in this movie has to be approved by him first right?! It wouldn't have his name credited on it if he didn't have approve it!

If I remember well the (correct me if I'm wrong) Kishi even had said in an interview that he made ​​Pierrot change things on the movie till it get the way he wants ..?

Aww, yay it's out! Well sort of. xD I'm not sure whether to watch it or not. On the one hand, I really want to see our NS moments after being deprived for so long and the awesome interaction between NaruMinaKushi. But still, I'd rather watch it in Japanese with subs. I'm so conflicted right now!

Lol, knowing me, I'll probably end up watching it anyway. I'm not a patient person at all, the wait's already been unbearable.

I think Kishi himself mentioned it in an interview, that he made so many demands to the point of making the staff cry. Is Kishi's way or no way.

This is not a democracy, it's a Kishi-tatorship.

Kishi was in fact in charge of everything in this movie. He had full control, so anyone needs an approval before doing so. Yes, it's true that the studio have to keep changing until it's 100% Kishi's idea. It's not just the script that makes me awe, but it's the expressions of these characters, especially Sakura. Her face really speaks volume in this movie. You can make Wall-E like (first half) with Naruto and Sakura and it will be fantastic. Kishi had sketches of the movie and many of them have Sakura concerning about Naruto. It's the expressions that really made this movie more emotional, including the end.

Its just that the first trailer of RTN says, that kishi didnt only designed the characters.

It should. I really can't see any other pairing happening now (I know others already said this, I'm just copying you now ). Kishimoto showed NaruSaku in such a good light, and showed us all how much he likes it. He knows how much he is ruining his story if he doesn't make NS canon.
