I love how the parallels aren't actually repetitive and each have slight differences but all point towards narusaku.

Because Minato/Kushina despite being used as a parallel is not one, you can compare their personalities they are very similar to Naruto and Sakura but their set-up is different, we dont even know if kushina had a team, we dont know if she loved another man at start, is a hero family role model, the only parallel that i can see is Obi/Rin i dont consider the rest as a parallel.

The rest didnt had the same set-up and background, Konan is not a tsundere, Tsunade despite being a tsundere had a boyfriend with the same personality as Jiraya but he wasnt a pervy.

If you think you sound cool, well, you don't. If you have an issue at least manage to be open about it instead making petty attempts to put people down. Right now your attitude makes you look pretty lame and annoying.

This is the problem with chatting online, people can't "read" cheeryfully saying something, or if someone is being sarcastic in saying something...either way, I don't think it's proper to assume that was a mean joke...I'm sure it was just a "thumbs up" type comment.

I agree, the internet is hard to tell if one person is sarcastic or not. It's best to ask before striking. That's why we ought to write something that express sarcasm like "/sarcasm". Besides, it's Christmas Eve, well in here at least, we shouldn't be start raging. It's funny that the day before always has a huge storm before we all calm (Christmas). So, let's just cheer up and enjoy the holidays.

I personally still don't undestand how YahikoxKonan is suppose to be like NS. The similarities I see are pretty superficial, ie Sakura and Konan are both the only girls in the team and so on.

I think it's more of a Yahiko/Naruto parallel. Both are the bright and energetic members on their teams. I would also say that Konan parallels Sakura's feelings for her teammates. Konan is always looking out for Yahiko and Nagato; she would do anything to see them reach their dreams. Sakura is the same way when it comes to Naruto and Sasuke. She wants what's best for both of them.

I agree with you though. It's a stretch saying that Yahiko's relationship with Konan is a parallel to Naruto's relationship with Sakura. The only reason it can be considered a pairing parallel is because Yahiko and Naruto are similar to one another and they both like the female on their respective team. I'll admit, that is a weak reason to call it a NaruSaku parallel.

It's true. If it was actually meant to be a parallel, it's by far the most minimal of them all since we didn't know jack about their romantic relationship with the exception of that scene.

While Yahiko is clearly similar to Naruto, Konan's personality is very different from Sakura. Maybe since Konan was caring for an injured Yahiko it could be related to how Sakura cares for Naruto with her medical ninjutsu, but it could be a coincidence.

Still, I always wondered what was the point of making Yahiko and Konan a couple at the very last minute. It didn't bring any value to the story, it was simply there. Unless they have a secret child that will appear near the end.

But seriously; most previous teams are parallels of NaruSaku/Team 7. Yahiko/Konan is a reach, but there's still others that support NaruSaku.

Also, how can SasuSaku still even be a thing? He tried to kill her twice. IMO, if I were Kishi, that's pretty much making the end of that pairing ever happening.

If SasuSaku happens it will destroy Sakura more than she already is. And merry christmas/happy holidays to everyone at H&E! !

I guess it was just to add something extra to both Konan and Yahiko, some new sides to them both, to make them somewhat more connected and richer characters (if you can say that with such small side characters) with many different kinds of relationships with different characters. Their affair cost Kishi nothing more but couple of panels so it's not like he had to go out of his way to write it. With this simple addition he gained some depth to Konan and Yahiko.

Edit. Well, maybe that was more "been drinking and just generally wondering everything about life and universe and everything and don't take this too seriously" question, but SS is a thing because of ch 540 keeping Sakura's feelings alive and the fandom counting Sasuke's redemption as a sure thing.
