It's these pages that it is said Sakura still hasn't figured out her feelings for Naruto - that she's confused about them and still hasn't found the answer.
(Something like that, it's from an unbiased translator. I wish I could translate it myself, but unfortunately I gave up on trying to learn Japanese years ago. Too frustrating for me, I have no patients But if you dig through the debate thread you could probably find the quote from the unbiased translator somewhere..)

probably because she's still worried about Sasuke (whose a psychotic international criminal- Naruto- she doesn't need to worry about).

it could mean she still loves Sauce- or it could mean that lover nin's comment reminded her of the guy she thinks she loves

*shrug* i don't think sakura is in love with Sasuke- she believes she is- its what Naruto believes she is.
I can only assume she didn't think of Naruto because of that- or maybe she just decided not really think about what has occured between herself and Naruto since her confession- its messier with naruto than a straight forward feeling of anxiety she get with Sasuke

Especially, when one of your best comrades, friends, and potential relationship partner somewhat seems to think that you are still in love with the guy, which is why somehow, Sakura needs to do something big that causes Naruto to not actually and not really see it that way anymore (if she is willing), or for Naruto to accept that, hey, maybe she could love someone else other than Sasuke, though I think he already realize that with the conversation with Sai after the confession.

He's not "gay" as you put it he just has a strong bond with Sasuke, as Naruto and Sakura both said Sasuke is like a brother to Naruto.

It's about emotional bonds. I think Japanese culture is a lot more sensitive to this than western culture- understanding one can't easily dismiss a bond, even to someone who goes bad and wishes you harm. You could kind of read the scene between Naruto and Sakura in 469-70 about Sasuke in that sense as a Japanese commentary on the western culture's self-delusion about breaking bonds with someone close to you that has gone bad. Sai stance would be the segment of Japanese culture that acknowledges that bond but believes the western action is right. Kishimoto is subtly saying Sai's middle way is mentally the best way- realizing the bond is there, but acting to protect oneself and others that would be harmed by that person.
