The circumstances of the tweet were pretty strange from the beginning, so I already had the feeling it was fake.

 

But you wanna know what's not fake?

yeah this as well as the talk with you know who confirms to me that NS will be canon in the movie.

It really wouldn't make sense for NS to not become canon by the time the movie comes around. Unless Naruto didn't confess because Sasuke didn't want to stay in the village.

 

If Sasuke does end up coming back, I'd at least like it if Kishi punished him in some way. Such as have him serve as a Konoha prisoner under house arrest or something. He confirmed that the Leaf has prisons way back when Karin was plotting her escape, so they could put him under maximum security or something.

I wish there would be some kind of scientific study documenting the psychology of pairing fandoms (including us) within the Naruto fanbase. But honestly, no organization would invest money into that kind of study when there are more important things to throw money at.

 

But I ask, what makes the Anti-NaruSaku crowd hate us besides the whole "haters gonna hate" argument? Surely there must be a reason why this fandom considers us the butt of all jokes, right? Then again, any pairing fandom could say the same thing about themselves.

So the tweet was a fake, eh? I was taking it with a grain of salt anyways. So I'm not disappointed. I already know NaruSaku will be canon.

But goodness...I didn't expect that kind of childish and extremely immature behavior from the sasusaku fandom. I know they're upset that their pairing died, but there's seriously no reason to pull the kind of behavior an angry 12-year old would.

I feel like were usually ok most of the time. Some SS & NH fans just take it a little bit too far for it to be considered normal to me, especially when it deals with NaruSaku.

It was split. I don't know now since the translation from both world (raw and viz) said otherwise, perhaps decreasing the pro aspect. I would feel bad but I'm heel so nope.

Well, I don't know how or why but the line about Sakura wants Sasuke to be hers was wrong and the response from Kakashi to Sasuke after his words were more like "That's not what it is" rather than "But don't you see why?" Big difference.

From what I gathered, people were lashing out and coming up with all sorts of  crazy theories and headcanons in an attempt to make the ship look better. With the raws/viz translation now I am seeing more of the same, only with heightened venom and arrogance.

 

Suddenly everyone is now saying Viz is incorrect when not too long ago they defended Viz translations as it fit their agenda better. For all the faults Viz has, this was one of the translations they got mostly right as it lined up somewhat with the raw.

 

It's always been like this though. I came into the scene in 2006 and even then there was a visceral hatred for NaruSaku. Frequently saw countless members get ganged up on in debates on NF, regular negs and in general was just a kitten place to be in.

 

Whats funny is how not too long ago they claimed anti-fans would do that when from where I was standing, anti narusaku fans (who most happened to NH/SS fans) were always the aggressors.

 

Be prepared for even more hate should NS become canon.
