Calling it now, Lucy is going to be severely hurt next chapter which will further enrage Natsu. Probably, and that could be the direction, they are going towards.

On a side note, why do I get this feeling that Natsu has like four women that could have the potential to be the end pairing for him for some reason?

I'm more interested in Zeref and how he knows Natsu. I'm starting to lose interest in the guild more and more.

Unlike the past nakama-powerups, at least this one had awesome teamwork instead of a huge asspull powerup from nowhere.

As for Lucy, damn, Layla just keeps getting more and more mysterious. I really wonder what is her role in all this?? she seems to know the truth about Zeref and what magic truly is. And moreover, her a**hole father has to KNOW something. He's in fact been hiding something from Lucy. Perhaps the reason why he doesn't want Lucy to be a mage is related to Zeref all along and he was trying to protect her from that.

I agree with Dark Krypt. At least it wasn't some random powerup. I liked the chapter and do wonder what Lucy's mother has to do with all of this.

Sigh......., to be fair, all of that talk about knowing fear and weakness and the key to combat that is to grow stronger is technically the right approach. It's just that it comes off as corny and cliche at times. Anywho, ok chapter, that was starting to get it really going until it ended, so as always can't wait for next chapter.

Not exactly, he just got lucky that's all. The cats managed to destroy Hades' power source just in time.

But yeah, what a lame ending.

My guess is that Mashima was wanting to get this arc over with so he could move onto a more interesting one.

I hope so. Zeref and Ultear are the only interesting characters this arc. There are still alot of things to be revealed in this story especially the origins of the dragons, zeref and natsu.

I wonder how long Mashima plans for Fairy Tail to run. I really hope this story can be wrapped up in the next 2 years because its starting to get draggy and lame. Or introduce us with more interesting plot elements.

Well, yet another chapter that was still reving its wheels and was getting really interesting until the end and just stopped abruptly. Hmmmmm, maybe, this is starting to turn into a cliche, though I was interested in the island tests right before the invasion began.

As much as I love Fairy Tail, the way all the arcs seem to come to an end is getting a bit repetitive, I think I prefer Bleach over Fairy Tail once again because of it, It's a shame as the build-up is really fun and enjoyable.

Epilogue chapter, everybody is okay in the end, it seems Laxus is back in the guild, Juvia is revealed to be an masochist... I wonder if I can find an wip nearby... this chapter felt pretty filler...

yeah,
he said hes planning on making it as long as his other anime/manga, Rave Master. which was 293 chapters long.(i think)
