Like I said in this other post on SS vs. NS BOTH Sakura & Sasuke would have to change ALOT in order to make their realationship in various ways. If she gets together with Naruto instead there'll only be few adjustments but their relationshp & behaviors will remain.

In their fc, they say that passionate love is real love.

Sure it's real love.

If you're a cheesy hollywood movie. =\

Real happy relationships are based on companionate love. It's the thing that holds the couple together after the temporary chemisty has worn off.

I've once typed an essay on what I look for in a relationship, and one of the criteria was "natural": how much a character can be him or herself around another person. :amuse

Another person put it another way: individuality. I feel that Naruto and Sakura are most outgoing and able to express themselves around each other. ^^

Passionate love is real love? LMAO. And where do they see 'passionate love'? Lemme guess, the databook. Y'know, passion itself is not the same thing as passionate love. How could anyone make that kind of argument when the idea that Sakura even loves Sasuke in that way is unclear in the first place? I swear, sometimes I just can't understand why people would WANT to be so illogical.

EDIT:

Well I did have a good post going on here until I read this essay in the link posted below.

We are kind of talking about the anime (not fillers) and Manga alike.

Well at this point the focus will be on Team Asuma in reflecting on Asuma's death and perhaps seek vengence towards Akatsuki.

I silently laughed at everything the guy said. I mean, my jaws were hanging because some of the reasons he used. For example,

"And Naruto's "care" stayed on crush level." - Naruto fought with ALL HE HAD to save her from Gaara. Sasuke said that himself. Then at the the Sasuke retrieval arc, he fought with everything he had there to try and bring him back, or so Kakashi said. I'm not sure if that one was true smile.gif.

It would be a big waste of time to try and counter these arguments. Stating that "Sakura loves Sasuke", "Naruto doesn't love Sakura" and "Hinata loves Naruto" or anything along the lines of speaking of a characters feelings as if it's fact, then basing an argument on that and quotes from the insignificant databook pretty much shows how far gone these people are. There's no rational view. There's no actual look at the canon. Just opinion. So there's no use in countering this, because these people are so stuck in their opinion and what they WANT to happen, that they're going to see what they WANT to see.

That's why I would never advice anyone going to that site. Its too dangerous unless you love to debate and bash other pairing feel free. At least SSvs.Ns isn't like that at all! We have polite & nice SS & NS and we can have a political debate without rude bashing and pairing wars!

And an anti-NaruHina FC. They're both actually older than (this incarnation of) the anti-NaruSaku FC. I'm a bit surprised that they're still alive because the anti-clubs used to die quick and merciful deaths (with a few exceptions like the first anti-Hinata club and the anti-Sasuke club).

I'm not sure how well it speaks for how the fandom is getting along that they've become more successful. But then, maybe it's a place for people to rant more-or-less harmlessly amongst themselves rather than on the debate threads.

Agreed, Nick. Which is why it's pointless to counter arguments from the Anti-FC's in particular

Speaking of rants, am I the only one getting annoyed by the invasion of anti-NaruSaku members at the NF NaruSaku fanclub? They claim to be friendly except basically, they're being pests. *twitch* One even went to say that an AMV a member had just posted was "not very convincing."

It's a friggin' AMV, like fanwork or a fanart. It's not Supposed to be a debate tool. *twitch*

Ah well. My NaruSaku manifesto is just about complete. One week from now I'll begin the final beta process. Hopefully it'll be up in less than two weeks.

I wonder how the SasuSaku fans reaction will be when Sakura chooses Naruto over Sasuke.

I just can't imagine what's going to go on in those forums.

I'd prefer to not comment on specific members of the anti-NaruSaku FC. It'd be awfully easy for the discussion to turn into bashing.
