@ Merry-chan: Good reason, yes. Though I fail to see how going on a business trip to the south triggers the one of her reasons to be sad. then again, running the business reminds her of her father I guess. He was evil but it's not really natural to hate your parent. The fact that Mako and Korra got together there is plausible too, though less likely because he was showing his feelings for her before he and Asami even broke up. Anyways I'm misdirecting people with my comment there. I mean that Asami seems like a nice girl and I'd prefer her happy and cheerful is all. If she has any grievance she should talk about it with her friends. I suppose I was annoyed cause she was keeping it to herself
well who does she have to talk to? Bolin?
I can see she wouldn't want to talk to Korra......(they didn't seem to be close) and Mako...(I don't think she wants to confide in him...would you want to confide in your ex-boyfriend? maybe...but I wouldn't)
she lost her mom
she lost her dad
she lost her boyfriend
her company is not doing well
she pretty much has to do things herself now
she's just gonna be unhappy....until someone asks her what's up.
aww Asami being adorable to Bolin XDD (platonic to me)
don't really like the twin girl yet....I might though XD

It's not that to me, it's just that the guys put too much focus on that with little in return and it's because of time limit. I mean everyone still feels like that it was heavily rushed, not enough time for us to give in. I mean it was ep 5 where love became center, why so dang early? Why fall for one so early.sigh... even the mako hate is here to i see personally i don't think he's that bad just confused about his feelings kinda like a certain female we know who is confused about her feelings and still is

Good point. But still that sadness is not my "cup of tea".

I guess. I think they tried hard enough to make love very crucial but it didn't work well.

well it's better for her to have some continuity then for her to just be happy with everyone after all thats happened.
...but I rather her be happy too....

I really don't like jumping ships because that rarely ends well, but damn, don't tell me this one doesn't look promissing.
If Bolin acidentally flirts with Desna, I'm done.

Until bolin starts getting a backbone im not shipping anyone with anyone same goes for mako even if he's with korra i want to see him grow as a to character.
After hearing the feedback of season 2 episode 1 im already hearing mako being all cute to korra while bolin right next to them makes a annoyed face expression. I thought this was just bias opinion until i saw a gif for it on tumblr i got a little upset.
Theirs more but i'll explain later after school.

I just realized this but whenever there is a female lead in a series, the series has a lot of romance and does have some focus on pairing and stuff and not that I dont like that but I would like the plot to come first then pairing, I just hope they don't put too much focus on pairings.

Now, when you say cheap path, you mean a couple happens when they both know the same effect (heart broken in this case), so they just come together path?

It's more because it would feel like Bryke is just taking the easy path to tie loose ends. They would just conveniently put togheter these two characters that got rejected by their respective love interests simply because they are the left overs.
An example would be, that by the end of Naruto Sakura would reject him to stay with Sasuke, then Naruto would get togheter with Hinata just because Kishimoto didn't wanted Naruto all alone by the end. That's just the easy way out. It doesn't sit right with me.

Oh. Close enough.
Yeah, I don't blame you there. It's odd how this series focus on pairings more than I can bargain. Someone in here I believe, or elsewhere made me question and please, I'm not sexist but I do apologize if this comment offend. It would seem like whenever a lead character is a female, romance subplot is highly focused than anything else. This series didn't give enough time for us to indulge these characters. Maybe because of length, but the romance was focused a lot. I like romance, but it must be balanced and reasonable. Not to mention, the right timing. The first series did good, even though side or not Aang are rushed, it's still good. We'll see for this one.

For those complaining about the romance and how "focused" it was. Did anyone watch A:TLA? Aang's affections for Katara were a huuuuge portion of the series. Like Season 2 Episode 2 about the cave of two lovers. Don't confuse focus with timespan. A:TLA had 60 episodes to expand on other things. They went into Korra with the idea that they only would have 12.

I know. I already mentioned that it most likely that the episode span is what they rushed quickly to romance. That said it seems funny that they would only do one season, only to do more. I wonder why they even have a short time span. I mean they can't seriously think that Korra wouldn't be popular. I know time has changed but fans are still dedicated. Oh well. I know avatar has focused but it concludes within with more awaits while Korra has like cliffhanger for it. Hard to explain I guess. For those complaining about the romance and how "focused" it was.
