They do it all the time with trailers. Selected clips are selected for a reason and also they're clips, they're not the full scenes. It's like when they show you sneak peeks of the next episode of a TV show you watch and it's so out of context sometimes you have the wrong idea but when you watch the full episode you're like, "Oh, that makes sense now" or "I didn't expect it going like that" or "that buildup was for nothing"

And the store owner also knows someone from the Studio Pierrot... For the store owner it's not the first time that he was trying to cheer people up b/c of this sh*tty ending; he's aware how the merchandizing is overmarketing Hinata.
