That's my point.  I'm getting really tired of seeing unconfirmed, negative, fear-mongering crap being posted without a verifiable source.
 
I mean, seriously?  Is it really that much fun to try to drag people down with hearsay stuff that can't be proven?

This. If it ain't a trailer for the movie or a scan for the upcoming chapter I could care less about what's being pushed.

First things first right now. The ending of the manga. That's what I'm looking forward to since that's gonna tie into the movie. I'm looking for hints that point toward NS here. Lol

Spoilers were never an issue. Everybody knows chapters are leaked days before they come out, even Kishi knows.

 

Besides, I'd say most people read Naruto for stuff other than romance, so this will affect a small part of the fandom at best. They'll still go watch the movie, and SP knows that.

 The movie is about love and at least 80% of their teases are romance.The fact that they go through this much trouble marketing for shippers must mean they are a large part of the audience

It feels almost like Hinata is trying to guilt trip people. "Oh I am so stupid because I am weak and shy. Oh Woe is me. I have this scarf to express my feelings, but I can't do it because woe is me." This is a love story? To feel sorry for this girl who can't even think of anybody, but herself? This is not a happy story. This feel more like a guilt trip to force us to accept Hinata as a pathetic girl and I hate it. I hate it very much. NH fans wants us to see her as this pathetic girl who we should pity and "deserves to be happy cause she had a hard life with her father."  A hard life even she didn't give a crap about. All of a sudden jumping in front of a bullet makes you worthy of love and apparently, we have to change Naruto to suit Hinata's needs?

Another circle of "what if..." here. Let's just go with logic and facts:

 

NaruSaku in manga:

- Huge amount of development (from chapter 3 in part 1 to Naruto's answer to Minato about Sakura's status to him)

- Naruto's statement to Sai about his feelings for Sakura  and POAL to deal with.

- Sakura's change of heart through part 2, noticeable to many other characters (Yamato, Kakashi)

- Massive parallels with Minato x Kushina and Naruto x Sakura

 

NaruHina in manga:

- None of moments as development from both sides (only Hinata's)

- They barely talked to each other in whole manga.

- None of parallels to anyone

 

NaruSaku in RtN:

- Naruto and Sakura - main characters to plot.

- Plenty of parallels to another MinaKushi

- Kishi involved

 

NaruHina in RtN:

- Is there been any scene where Naruto and Hinata where 1x1? 

 

Some facts that Kishimoto said by himself:

- He wanted to make Sakura more of a heroine.

- He wanted to draw Naruto as father

- He wanted to end manga with conclusive ending

 

Problems/Questions to NS becoming canon:

- Sakura's final change of heart from Sasuke to Naruto.

- When exactly and how will it happen?

 

Problems to NH becoming canon:

- 90% of this post

 

Problems of "The Last" movie:

- Reason for 2 years timeskip?

- Some fillerish flashback about child Naruto x Hinata

- SP try hard force for a Hinata as heroine (not really a problem, its just triggering some people with "NH is canon!!!" thing)

- Almost none information about what happend to almost all characters during this 2 years (especially Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke)

- Position of this movie in whole timeline of story. (?)

 

If NS become canon to a main story:

Fair enough to a character that are involved to it.

Not contradict to a logical ending/main story telling.

Pretty big development in almost 700

 

If NH become canon to a main story:

Not fair to one of involved charactert in this pair.

Break main logic of a Hero's character.

Makes a lot of story moments - illogical.

Contradict the general logic of whole story.

None of development in canon story.

 

Open questions:

- Will Kishimoto end manga with conclusive end?

- Will Kishimoto end this whole pairing subplot?

 

So if you can read this and still tell me about 50/50 to NH becoming canon, and don't tell my WHY exactly, then you are just some horrible horrible person    or just troll

Exactly. The movie is an answer to the ships, a fill in the blanks between 699 and 700. I personally believe it's Kishi's way to give NH a little limelight before sending it off, a way to let it down easy and explain why it didnt happen. I also think this movie will be about Naruto and Sakura's first love as well, which is why she is shown so little even though we know she's the heroine. I'd relax, even if they though the shippers would still come they also want as much money brought in as possible, throwing away the shipping answer in TRAILERS to the movie, BEFORE the finale of the manga comes out would turn away a large amount of the audience and would be a crap way to deal with that storypoint. We all saw Kakashi becoming the 6th official Hokage, Obito layed that out really well haha. Naruto will come after. That's not a huge reveal. But revealing that Naruto falls in love with Hinata, who has always been a likeable side-character in the shadows with naught but 6 speaking lines to Naruto over a decade, at the same time neither addressing or fulfilling the VASTLY larger development between Sakura and Naruto, two MAIN characters, the endless romantic parallels, the Sakura-Kushina parallels and the "Find one like me" comment and the multiple times characters have pointed out Sakura's unrealized love for Naruto, there's just no way Kishi forgets about his two mains he's clearly been shipping since day 1 (see...the entire manga and RtN, which he commanded).

Unless Kishi pulled a NH relationship straight out of his end and slapped it onto cinema, and SP suddenly decided to make very poor business decisions, this movie is not what it seems. The trailer is cut and tailored very cleverly to make it open ended. We've seen 35 seconds. Lines are put where they aren't spoken. Scenes are cut to make them have a romantic connotation. It's obvious when watched carefully.

Be calm. Just from a literary standpoint, having Sakura still in love with Sasuke at the end would destroy her development, make the thousands of hours drawing and creating the NS development and the parallels (and RtN) a complete waste of his time, and would feel hollow and empty. NH, given nothing in the manga and nothing in the finale (seeing as at the start of this movie we know Hinata is still in the shadows), would be the biggest skid-mark on the face of romantic fiction in light of the fact that all of their development has to happen within an hour and a half of MOVIE, AFTER the story had already ended. 

I stand confident. Kishi cannot be that careless with his own story. He may forget little things, (Ten-Ten and the tools), but not the relationship he's been developing and the romantic tension and parallels he's been building since day 1.

The only thing I find reassuring at this point is the fact that supposedly, Kishimoto has been working on writing for this film for a while, and we've had quite a few narusaku moments in the manga in the last year or so. But even if this film doesn't end with naruhina becoming canon, it definitely is going to have a focus on it.

Not at all. Regardless of the romance being teased, there's still a bad guy to fight and Sasuke doing stuff (I'd actually be surprised if the romance takes even 20% of the running time). That's enough for most of the fandom.

 

Besides, SS is the most popular ship, and it's not being teased at all. So this is not about pairing popularity.

Re-read the manga where NS proof was cited, read a lot of NS Manifestos, crushed my own SS/NH fantasies when I realize it takes forever for Kishi to make them interact like 50+ Chapters  before you see them in one panel or two, and not all the fillers in the anime were convincing enough to label my once otp's to be canon. And the last and probably most important thing that compelled me is, I grew up, too many life lessons pointed towards NS. Realized its a beautiful self-sailing ship.

'Scuse me gents (and ladies), but, really, how can we compare Sasuke's childhood to Hinata's? He had his entire family killed and he saw his parents murdered by his apparently homicidal maniac older brother (who, up until then, he hero-worshipped) and Hinata, what? She was just not made heiress of his clan because, her father considered Hanabi the better shinobi, but she didn't get the seal nor she was relegated to the kitchens a-la Cinderella. If we were to compare Sasuke's terrible childhood to someone else's Neji would have been the best choice. And imo he should have been the new Hyuga's head chief... but then he put himself between Hinata and certain death...while she thought about Naruto's big warm hand...how in the seven hells can she be considered a positive character who embodies a positive love I will never know.

I ratger see pairing more vast than

non-shippers
each Naruto fan I come across, is a shipper (almost 80%)

and truely...declaring a pairing canon with least develpment as such ( Stop considering Hinata yelling Naruto kun a NH moment)
becoming canon stands senseless at this point


moreover the main characters>>>>>Supporting ones


so ...giving a supporting character limelight at the cost of underdevelopment of all characters including main protagonists becomes as much stupid as willingly jumping to quicksand...

I know right ... once you entered a certain fandom, expect that you will experience bash and hateful comment.. but who cares!?? lol I'm a die hard shipper of Narusaku, no words can bring me down

I'm 50% excited and 50% neevous for the next last 2 chapters ... so hopefully narusaku is canon.
