So Shikamaru is going to silence the leader of the country of silence

if i was naruto, i would have sat sakura down and tell her that pinning after sasuke is doing nothing but hurting her. i would tell her this not only because i love her, but because i feel it's my duty as the hero of this series who has been shown multiple times to break through to characters when i need to make a point. i broke through that cold exterior that zabuza held and i also got through to that baby attempting murderer known as obito.   

 

we always say that naruto supports sakura's happiness, but all ss does to sakura is cause her unhappiness. 

I didn't saw it when Naruto was still running, but after this mess, if you look back, even Sakura in early part 2 wasn't that sucker for Sasuke, Kishimoto dismided both their characters. Naruto protected Sakura's feelings many times, even against Sasuke (earlyer in series), but in the end Naruto turned into pure gold, tha has nothing to do with realistic/human behavior.

In all honesty, this is a sign and clear evidence that they want us to forget Sakura was actually a main character. It's pretty much killing her.

I beleive it too now that I just read part of the novel. Now I feel it in my got the movie pamphlet may no longer be a red herring and it's something I feel like it was not written or said for nothing for a long time. And Sakura's novel has its release on April 3. This brews trouble not for NS, but NH and SS fandoms as well. My expectations just went up 65% may be confirmed in her novel that Sakura sees Naruto as a romantic interest just as it was stated in the pamphlet and it will explain that she selflessly gave Naruto up because of Hinata and maybe she was undeserving of his love.

And you know what? This is by far worse than what we got or Sakura killed off in the end. SP and Kishi are like rubbing NH in Sakura's face while her first love interest is not around and knows that she loves Naruto more than him. It's pure horrifying torture to her character out of abhorrence of the creators. Not only this selfless act takes her out the list from being the worse heroine, I feel she's going to be the most tragic of them all. Sakura will get no love except from Sarada and that's it if this comes true. Not only that, but Pt3 will immensely flop due to the backlash of SS and NH fans, but he may just lose what remains of his fandom. Does Kishi have it in him to finish the job of f-ing up his story?

 

Yes, I too wonder if that is going to come back to haunt NS fans. They may very well write Sakura as downplaying her feelings for Naruto in favor of Sasuke, and then saying Hinata is so good, she deserves Naruto. It becomes a way to give Sakura what she supposedly wants, while at the same time putting her down. It makes Sakura look like the fickle girl who would string Naruto along, and makes Hinata look like innocent. 

 

I figure, in the novel, they are either going to skip over Sakura's feelings toward Naruto just like they've dropped feelings for her without a second glance. Or they are going to have her weighing the two against each other and choosing Sasuke because she's loved him the longest, and paralleling that with Hinata's love for Naruto.

 

From the tone of the movie, Sakura saying that she and Hinata have to help each other, I have a sinking feeling it's going to be some version of the latter.

 

 

I think he never intended to develope NH and SS at all. Just tell the original story until the cord was pulled out in the end. It was like the original story got discontinued and a whole brand new story replaced the original because Kishi was going to show how Naruto fell in love with Sakura during the flashbacks of Sakura's childhood and I thought it was going to be the main anchoring point for the poal. And Naruto would have been shown rescuing Sakura from bullies because she was being bullied because of her forehead. Unfortinate, gave that plot and scene to Hinata, which destroyed the epitome of the manga.

 

Espcially since we know that Sakura was the only one who was actually bullied. Not Hinata, the clan princess. Sakura was bullied, and Naruto was sad and alone. And we know Sakura recognized/acknowledged Naruto when they were children. She is shown in the manga as being concerned for him when he was fighting Sasuke, even as everyone else continued to cheer Sasuke on. She is the only one who looks worried. 

 

They took the backstory that should have been Sakura and Naruto's and awarded it to Hinata instead, making it completely unbelievable that the princess of the most powerful clan in Konoha would be left by herself and bullied. This backstory would have brought Naruto and Sakura's heaven-and-earth relationship full circle.

 

Sakura was the one who was bullied because of her forehead. Naruto was the one who instigated the bench scene where he points out that her forehead is the thing he notices about her, that it's beautiful and he would like to kiss it. This means that he knew enough about her to know she was teased for it. And she changes in that moment by feeling ok about it, even loved for it. This all parallels Kushina and Minato's relationship with the one thing she is self-conscious about being the one thing Minato loves most about her. 

 

It was never supposed to be NH. The childhood connection was set up for Naruto and Sakura, and reinforced over and over again through the course of their lives. In the end, it was just awarded to Hinata instead. 

 

No wonder Kishimoto looks depressed in all the pictures. He knows he gave his story away.

Though I agree with what you said , but didn't Sakura already acknowledged all of that on her own and faced reality  that Sasuke was bad for her and always hurting her in her confession to Naruto !?   . Really  There is no logical explanation for why SS happened after this kitten its freaking ridiculous seriously WTF is wrong with this men and his writing  .

i like that naruto and sakura argued, it was one of the highlights of their relationship that i like. now with that being said, i think sakura's confession was one of the dumbest things i've read in this series. i'm not saying what she did was entirely stupid, because she made valid points that naruto should be more concerned about himself instead of sasuke. but sakura laid out all the reasons why she should not love sasuke anymore. she said it herself:

now with all of that in mind, i have to ask myself why does kishi label this as love? it's clearly not love if she's pointing out the glaring flaws of her relationship with sasuke. i don't think sakura knows what love is and she never did. what sakura feels is infatuation, not love. that's why i believe that naruto is a good example to talk to her about this stuff. naruto has experience all types of love, so who better to tell her that she doesn't understand love.

Right. Um, remind me, isn't this what Sasuke was doing during his "wanted criminal" phase?

 

And isn't this what every shinobi mission was before the anesthetizing 'ultimate peace' fell across the land (like Obito's jutsu)?

 

If this is still how they're dealing with problems, then how exactly are they at peace? They're just creating more broken countries like Rain and more terrorist groups like Akatsuki.

 

This is the problem with ending Naruto in such a fairy-tale way. "No more problems. Ever. Peace and harmony for all!!1!" It's beyond unrealistic, and is instead pointless and stupid. Ridiculously stupid. And to continue on with the series, they have to completely undo everything the plot has supposedly been working towards, almost immediately after ending Part 2.

That's also what I am afraid of. Either that, or Naruto's confession, that she spoke about, probably going to happen. And that's will be the final blow for NS as whole ship. Giving ultimate fact for NH/SS, not that they care for canon manga or smth like that. But it will hurt if not Sakura, at least Naruto. I'm can't image that scene, because I too can't image, that Sakura would turn down Naruto after all they've been through. And seeing that Naruto will be ok with that, only further will show that he is nothing like Jiraiya that loved selflessly one woman in his whole life. 

Ofcourse some could say that Sakura would be b*tch for not returning feelings to Naruto... And that Naruto deserved at least something (that is not going to happend due to last). I'm to be in both camps, but Sakura that not return feelings is something that we need thanks for to Kishimoto, if tease wasn't needed, Sakura woudn't do 180 turn in one chapter, and woudn't be stripped from her development all together. On other hand, I want to belive that if Sakura would return her feelings to Naruto, it would be because she finaly understood this with her heart AND mind, not one of those things in a time (that was both shown in manga, lol). But thanks to Kishimoto, last time we will ever see them in a canon manga together, is Naruto's "Sakura-chan..." without answer and total ignoring him from Sakura. So... yes, Sakura's novel will be have alot bombs in it.

But if you ask me, Kishimoto did that confession for a reason, to show that Sakura really not that bad, just that what follows that confession made her look like hipocrite, because Kishimoto nailed her characters as useless, due to not having enough willpower to kill Sasuke, (strange, she was ok with sacrificing her life in battle against Sasori), he easyly could made her not succed in assasination because of Sasuke's "awesomness" and etc, if he wanted Sakura to have better development.

Your post terrifies me, Tricksie. What if the "secret feelings" are her feelings for Naruto? And I agree that anything down that path is far, far worse for NS fans. At this point, I need to stay as far away from this material as possible. It's just terrifying.

PFTTT a Bolt anime?       LMAO they can't even bring back Bleach after all this time because of failed ratings. As if this kitten spin-off is gonna do them any good. All they're going to do is blow their budget trying to animate the Hyuga Prince and Princess to the max and risk becoming bankrupt. Look at the anime after The Last, the animation is absolute garbage! I have no idea why the hell they're even making a movie, it's a bad move for them financially. Who's going to care about the kids besides NH fans and SS fans? Series based on the next gen almost never work because it's just plain BS most of the time. 

They stopped animating Bleach because of the lack of audience ? Can it be then possible for them to stop animating Naruto, and spare our eyes of all the future BS ? (even though I don't watch it..)
