i was planning to make posts on tumblr why I find so many things to be an asspull if NH does happen in the movie but as far as I observed, I just wouldn't feel like ruining the ceasefire calmed ambiance in the NS tag. I won't even bother anymore, I completely have faith that Kishi letting these stuff happen. Oh well at least he's successful with getting most of the fandom gripped onto the edge of their seats as the manga comes to a close, plus the movie that makes shipping wars go haywire.

I won't go back on that matter. I already explained it well enough but people refuse to get that it's used romantically, they want to persist on the "family daisuki".
It was a genuine question, since I missed the debates about the raw and am only going by hearsay. I don't see how it deserves such a condescending response?
Anyway, I'm not denying her feelings for him, although I did poorly phrase my previous post. I know she still loves him. What I meant to get at is that Kakashi's comment from chapter 675 opens the possibility that her feelings have changed, even if she has yet to fully understand and acknowledge them.
Sorry for the bother, and thanks anyway!

It's precisely because it's been so many years that she loves him and because she still loves him after all what he has done to her and because Kakashi used the word "ai" to describe her feelings that you can't say it's just a crush. It's not a crush it's real love and I'm still a NS fan even if I accept Sakura's deep feelings for Sasuke.
I'm still not convinced that it's real love though.
Or is my heart in denial?! I always believed that it wasn't a confession but her saying that she still loves him, as a person, after all he has done to her and everyone else. But okay, for now, I'll accept that she still has feelings for him but just know that I'm trying so hard not to deny it.
Shiz. HEART, YOU GOTTA LISTEN TO BRAIN FOR A SECOND. ![]()
Crush = eternal love in Kishi's manga.
Sad but true.
Just take a look at Obito.
Only reason why Sakura is going to be "saved" from her self destructive love for Sasuke is that Naruto always get what he wants...
UGH. Kishi is really terrible in developing female characters and getting the romance part of the manga right. I would cry if he ever write a shoujo manga. Such a mess! ![]()
That's true. Although I believe she can definitely get over Sasuke, in a few years. That's why I'm hoping she'll come to a conclusion in the last movie, with all that time-skip. And I'm looking forward to the 10 year skip in the manga. ![]()

I feel like Kishi has no idea on how to make Naruto and Hinata interact outside of the slightly dramatic moment where Hinata gives him encouragement. Hence the painful lack of casual interactions between the 2.
That's why it's hard for me to considere Kishi would considere to canonize it...Even disregarding all the NS build up.

It's fine. I know that it's frustrating to have to explain yourself over and over again to people. Maybe I snapped a bit, so sorry! ^_^
I honestly don't mean to seem in denial about it. I just feel that there are some things that have yet to be explained, especially when other factors have been brought into the equation, like Kakashi's earlier comment about Sakura's feelings having changed and Sakura's actions throughout the arc.

A lot of people are still in the denial stage when it comes to 693. I myself have accepted that she is still in love with Sasuke, but at least she acknowledges that her affection for him after everything he has done simply is pathetic.
I think people went too far on the rationalizations for that one. That was clearly a love confession, almost a repeat of chapter 181. That's why I'm not expecting any NS moment at all in the final chapter, it wouldn't make sense.

And what makes you think that NH has a higher chance than NS in becoming canon? With all the NS developments.

NH has no parallels. It has no development either, but we all know parallels>>>>>>>>>> everything.
And NS has Naruto's parents blessing.
Basically NS has a bazooka and NH afork to defend themselves. They only had a toothpick before but Kishi upgraded their weapon with the movie.
We have the upper hand.

I think every anxious fan needs a dose of NS CPR. like breathing back all the reasons, developments, proof and foreshadowing back into their system.

Don't worry, though; between NS and NH, the former definitely has a lot more development in its favor and a stronger foundation upon which it's been built. If Naruto's feelings for Sakura haven't changed over the course of several years, I doubt they will in a relatively shorter period of time.

I get annoyed how some people only concentrate on the I love you part of 693 and nothing else. Every word in that chapter was written for a reason to convey what Kishi wanted to say but they can't wrap their head around it.

I would die if she does! She would have such a badass last move/act for the manga, if we're just going to move on to an epilogue! ![]()
Would she be able to fulfill the chakra requirements for tending to both boys, though?

I don't. I think it's 50-50, it can go either way.

You mean 70-30, and even 30 seems too generous for NH.
