I'm counting on it that Naruto and Sakura are together in the movie. If the last is canon and takes place a few years after the Naru/Sasu fight then Naruto must've confessed to Sakura after bringing Sasuke to the village. Still the hard truth remains Naruto and Sakura been in a relationship has the highest chances of happening than Naruto been with Hinata or Sakura with Sasuke. Especially when the manga has shown otherwise.

 so he can choose between his girlfriend (Sakura) or his boyfriend (Sasuke)

The most recent one was from a week ago when I asked if Naruto will succeed in finding someone like his mother (which we confirmed was Sakura in 631) his response was

I decided to give the poor guy a break, I wont ask him anymore questions.....well not for a while atleast at the very least he deserves a good couple weeks to a month break from being bothered with stuff he's supposed to keep secret.

Kishimoto: "Well, i thought the heroine had to look better, she deserves that. I think of Sakura as my wife, and i wanted her to have the best design."

I: *makes a surprise gesture* "Well that's a big revelation. What about Sasuke. He was one of the most recent designs and it really surprised me. Any special plan for him?"

Plus other info as well, Oda saying his wife looks like Sakura. Kishi saying his wife has the same personality as Kushina (who we can confirm is exactly like Sakura in both attitude and facial appearance)

Do you have proof of that interview? The only place I've heard of that is from some user on here.

And, he didn't say that his wife has the same personality as Kushina, just that she's a bit like her, a "little scary." He's never said anything about Sakura being based on his wife, or anyone else. The most we can say is that Sakura is similar to his wife, because Kushina is similar to his wife and Sakura is similar to her. Transitive property.

I wonder if Kishimoto had already met his wife when he first created Sakura.. He didn't get married until 2003.

There really is no reason to lie about the interview and it does add up with everything here. Kishi is a huge fan of baseball and the whole beating SS with a stick and making Naruto look like the chivalrist white knight in pain adds up alot more now.
