KibaIno shall be canon. It is a new law.   (Nah, I'm just messing with you on that. But I need it!) (Well, on a more serious note, some other minor pairings have been discussed along the way, which has led me to fangirl like this.)

 

Ummm... We were somewhat discussing how healing Naruto and Sasuke can go (i.e. Katsuyu's potential role and how much Sakura can do for both boys in that regard, which includes whether their arms survived that last clash. PS- I'd also love to hear your thoughts on that! ). 

 

Oh, there apparently were also some dubious tweets supposedly from Kishi's assistant going around that challenged the notion that Sakura was the heroine, although I doubt that they're legit. On that note, two movie posters that contain NH and SS were brought into the discussion (They feature the chakra transfer scene and the Western AU, respectively.), but I think we're all certain that they're fakes. 

 

Some of us are angsting over NaruDad and SakuMom. (Mah babies!  )

 

There was also a bit of a discussion of how the stats could've changed in the new databook, especially for Sakura. Some of us hypothesize that she must have broken into the 30's. 

 

The mood has shifted in this thread, overall, which is nice! 

 

Ummm.... Anybody else want to add on to this? The convo. has moved on so quickly, that I'm certain I've missed some topics. 

 

1. I agree on KibaIno, period!

 

2. To be honest, I believe she'll heal both of them and maybe have an similar OVA scene in a twiiiisted way (Naruto asking Sakura to heal Sasuke first, the rest, you do the math). I believe she will be able to do it, Creation Rebirth can do it, Byakugo is an updated version of it. Though I wonder about the side-effects, Kishi hasn't been focusing on that too much, maybe he'll do it now?

 

3. About that Kishi's assistant: I find it hard to believe he is real. He might be someone close but not the real deal. In his supposed activity around the internet, not only he has contradicted Kishi's words but he also contradicted himself twice in regards to some info, so I am willing to be skeptical until further notice. Or it could also be the real one but messing around? Lately, things have gotten so crazy that I am willing to check any angle...  

 

4. What movie posters? Can I see them as well? Thanks! Just curious.

 

5. I am willing to say Sakura cracked even the 30's. She can do now pretty much what Tsunade can do, the only difference between the two of them is the experience, but Sakura's intelligence makes up for that (the reason Tsunade considered her as an apprentice in the first place) and Tsunade's potential more potent inheritance, although we never really found out what she's more - a Senju or an Uzumaki? So things with her are... mysterious.

I have seen the exact same poster with Sasuke except with a taka cover behind.

 

Apparently those things have Naruto and Sasuke written in holes and you can put whatever you want behind.

 

Holy cow, Kishi original sketch of Naruto wasn't that bad, it's really SP that messed him up..

Well, it's natural that it got in the way. They both love him so much- And I don't even mean in a romantic sense.- so it's normal that saving him would have a higher priority than thinking about their feelings and simply being together. They're just too kind like that.
 
Anyway, while I don't necessarily agree with everything that happened, I do think that some incidents speak volumes about how far they're willing to go for each other's sake, which is simply beautiful.
 
OMG! KibaIno would be like a comedic NaruSaku. Chaos. Chaos galore! I'd actually pay good money to see the craziness that would ensue, thanks to their presence. *prepares popcorn and snatches front row seat*

They both have strong personalities, which will allow for a dynamic and interesting relationship. Naruto and Sakura have strong personalities, too, which is one reason why their relationship can work out. They can be their crazy selves around one another, and they don't need to hold back. Granted, it's Sakura who has to keep Naruto in check frequently. 
 
I've read that couples that are more similar are more successful, so I think that it would actually work in their favor...

I thought their personalities were too strong so they would clash but I have to admit you ALMOST convinced me into finding them suitable for one another. It does seem like their relationship would be interesting but I fear that there would be a lot of arguments, which could lead to.. heart-breaks. BUT, since they're in the Naruto world and not in our world, I guess their relationship can work out. 
 
Naruto and Sakura have strong personalities too but Naruto seems like he'll be more submissive while I'm not sure who'd be the less verbal aggressive one in Kiba and Ino's relationship. I would ship them in their teenage years, but as adults.. I find a more quiet and reserved, not shy, type of girl suitable for Kiba while.. you know who I ship with Ino.

SAME, but I wasn't hard-core shipping them though. Asuma and Kurenai was such a sweet couple that I couldn't complain.

That could very well be it. Don't want to overestimate Kishi but I think in these final chapters, EVERYTHING was done for a reason. Doesnt really have the panels to waste tbh.

1- Haha! megumi0505 and dancingnarthaki also seem to be of a similar mind, based on my interactions with them on Tumblr. Jooiinnn us! 

 

2- I feel that she'll be by Naruto's side more and show more of a reaction for him, which might lead to hand holding and reassuring face touches. Part of me believes that Sasuke might have something to do with it. He's observant, so he might notice these little things and push them together. 

 

What makes me curious is whether she'll be able to use it for both boys, though. I initially thought that Katsuyu might come into the picture, but if the arms cannot be salvaged, which I now doubt, she won't be of much use. And, of course, there's the question of efficiency in terms of chakra usage... 

 

3- Yeah, there definitely was something unprofessional about those tweets; they definitely do not seem to be a part of a cohesive marketing strategy.

 

4- Well, I shared the posters for you on here, to which you've already responded, and it confirms my suspicions. I'll respond separately, though! XD 

 

5- Yeah, Sakura definitely broke into the 30's. The last databook dates back to 2008, and, given the development she's had during the past 6 years, I wouldn't be surprised if she easily skyrockets in number. 

 

Oh, other conversation topics included how far into the future chapter 700 may be, given that it's effectively an epilogue.

if you go to Naruto countdown, hinata has just one panel there looooool    this is why I always say Hinata has the lest screen time and zero development/interaction with Naruto in manga

Actually they're not photoshopped. I made the same mistake and I remember LadyGT mentioning that they are cover jackets and you are able to put them over any of the Naruto volumes or anything that fits over it. That SS one is obviously something someone printed out.

I know! If you look at his sketch of Naruto in casual clothing, he looks really awesome! He's so mature and handsome. I don't openly rag on groups/people, but why, SP?!?! Why?!?! 

 

(I really hope we can see it in the manga, though, just to see more of Kishi's awesome designs!)

Nah, they'd just bicker and make up really soon. Plus, they'd find their quirks interesting. I really think Kiba would love pushing Ino's buttons just to piss her off.

 

But Kiba needs a smart, strong-willed girl like Ino to keep his moments of idiocy under control. I don't know. It seems to be a thing with manga, where the guys need a strong lady to rein them in, you know?

Kiba has had more moment with Naruto than her. And yet it's the most popular ship of the western fandom.

 

But we can blame it on Kishi. Forcing NarHin 'moments' (aka suicides) from time to time without bothering to give it proper casual interactions.

NarHin is one of the worst written thing in this manga.

You should complain to the members of NF that are discussing the issue. Some of them are firm believers in the idea that this change is for the best since stats are largely unreliable in light of inconsistent feats in the manga.
