So... Am I the only one on here who likes the idea of KibaIno? A lot of us on Tumblr love it! ^_^

 

Please, don't judge me. 

I like it. It's a sexy pair, and better assorted than Ino and Chouji. >_>

The moment we all started shipping them together. Honestly, in my experience, it's the only pairing I've seen in this series get largely positive reviews- well, at least on Tumblr. 

 

And can I just rave on about how their designs for the movie seem to complement each other well? Hmmm... Are you playing at something Kishi? Yes, plz!

 

Overall, I think their personalities are rather compatible. It could totally work!

Those are all valid points. I agree. 
 
One more thing that comes to mind, though, is that if Sakura were able to perfectly regenerate Naruto's arm, why would he feel the need to bandage his arm like that? Is there something for him to conceal, after all?

That's a good question. Naruto would have little incentive to cover his arm up if it was regrown anew healthily and effectively. A pragmatic reason to keep it under wraps (literally!) is if the limb's resistance to trauma was too inadequate to be used as roughly as the original.

Only one other character has just their arms bandaged, Lee. The reason being that he trained using his arms so arduously that they were visibly bruised and beaten (you could even see what appears to be stitches closing a slash just above the knuckle of the index finger).
 

Also, would she be able to do this process over a certain period of time to both boys, so that it doesn't exhaust her too much? Of course, perhaps Sasuke might decide to forgo regeneration and will simply accept her patching up the wound. (Of course, I personally want to see them both restored as much as possible- hence, my emphasis on trying to reattach their arms, if they can be found, and trying to see if it's a more energetically favorable route.)

She could, but would Sasuke's pride permit him to accept an easy route like this? This battle is having a profound impact on his psyche and his outlook on life (which concerning Naruto mostly and his own superiority/inferiority complex). I think a long-lasting acceptance of the injury suffered might be possible. Sasuke could choose to keep it as a reminder of the sacrifices made to get him this far.
 

Moreover, due to having Uzumaki blood, I have a feeling that Naruto's lifespan won't be affected too badly. Besides, he went through worse during his tailed-form transformations, before he forged a bond with Kurama. However, I have to wonder how Sasuke's lifespan would be affected. I'm guessing that specializing in dojutsu won't necessarily work in his favor, in that regard?

The genetic makeup of Hagoromo is an amalgamation of the Senju, Uchiha, and Uzumaki lines. As a transmigrant of Indra, Sasuke directly inherited the Yin powers of of the Sage. For the Rinnegan to be unlocked, you need to combine the Yin and Yang chakras of both Ashura and Indra. If the Rinnegan is unlocked, Sasuke has that material in his body. Plus, with Hashirama's cells infused courtesy of Kabuto, his chakra and longevity might have been strengthened as a side-benefit. This could lessen the adverse effects of regeneration for him.

Good point. Well, once upon a time, Sasuke actually cared about Sakura and wanted to protect her, and a part of me feels that he might have liked her, too. While only Naruto has been able to get through to him, I don't expect him to have a 180 degree transformation in his attitude about everything. However, maybe he'll be a little bit more open to her treatment, especially if Naruto is kind of forceful about it? 

 

But accepting a stub of an arm for its symbolic worth would be consistent with his character. Hell, it would kind of be like the end of "Fullmetal Alchemist," when Ed uses his leg as a reminder for what his carelessness had wrought.

I never got the reason behind ChouIno. Now out of nowhere I'm seeing timeskip InoxKiba fanart. People are way too eager to pair her up with just about anyone they can romanticize about.

I know that catching someone doesn't necessarily mean anything, but the chemistry in that scene, as well as the hurt and anger underlying the way he snapped at her and the subsequent remorse has to mean something! Kishi is working on it. I know it! *crosses fingers*

Naruto and Sakura do have chemistry, but the Sasuke angst damaged this ship quite a bit. KibaIno would be like NS without POAL to prevent Kiba from confessing, and Ino lying to Kiba out of guilt. Besides I find Kiba  sexier than Naruto so it contributes to making KibaIno more appealing to me.

 

But different strokes...

I have low tolerance to angst and dramu, and as I see it KI would be devoided of it.

KibaIno shall be canon. It is a new law.   (Nah, I'm just messing with you on that. But I need it!) (Well, on a more serious note, some other minor pairings have been discussed along the way, which has led me to fangirl like this.)

 

Ummm... We were somewhat discussing how healing Naruto and Sasuke can go (i.e. Katsuyu's potential role and how much Sakura can do for both boys in that regard, which includes whether their arms survived that last clash. PS- I'd also love to hear your thoughts on that! ). 

 

Oh, there apparently were also some dubious tweets supposedly from Kishi's assistant going around that challenged the notion that Sakura was the heroine, although I doubt that they're legit. On that note, two movie posters that contain NH and SS were brought into the discussion (They feature the chakra transfer scene and the Western AU, respectively.), but I think we're all certain that they're fakes. 

 

Some of us are angsting over NaruDad and SakuMom. (Mah babies!  )

 

There was also a bit of a discussion of how the stats could've changed in the new databook, especially for Sakura. Some of us hypothesize that she must have broken into the 30's. 

 

The mood has shifted in this thread, overall, which is nice! 

 

Ummm.... Anybody else want to add on to this? The convo. has moved on so quickly, that I'm certain I've missed some topics.

Well, it's natural that it got in the way. They both love him so much- And I don't even mean in a romantic sense.- so it's normal that saving him would have a higher priority than thinking about their feelings and simply being together. They're just too kind like that.

 

Anyway, while I don't necessarily agree with everything that happened, I do think that some incidents speak volumes about how far they're willing to go for each other's sake, which is simply beautiful.

 

OMG! KibaIno would be like a comedic NaruSaku. Chaos. Chaos galore! I'd actually pay good money to see the craziness that would ensue, thanks to their presence. *prepares popcorn and snatches front row seat*

They both have strong personalities, which will allow for a dynamic and interesting relationship. Naruto and Sakura have strong personalities, too, which is one reason why their relationship can work out. They can be their crazy selves around one another, and they don't need to hold back. Granted, it's Sakura who has to keep Naruto in check frequently. 

 

I've read that couples that are more similar are more successful, so I think that it would actually work in their favor...
