If there's a transference of the seal's effects as we saw with Obito, then the person with the accelerated cellular division would be Naruto and Sasuke since it's their bodies' restorative systems that's being stimulated by the jutsu.

There was quite a bit of speculation some time back that was centred around how Sakura was going to bypass this weakness her longevity is normal, it's not biologically extended as Tsunade's because of her Uzumaki heritage. It would have been one method through which she could have surpassed her teacher. Unfortunately, Kishi didn't feel the need to go into depth about Sakura overcoming Tsunade's medical shortcomings like this one.

I don't see what benefit Katsuyu's presence would have. She has only been shown to be capable of using a mass-scale variation of the Mystical Palm technique. Reattaching separated body parts is feasible, but it isn't like creating an entirely new arm from basic cells.

But, if Katsuyu were to reattach the boys' arms, instead, with a little bit of a boost from Sakura, wouldn't that work? The regeneration could be on a smaller scale, theoretically, which wouldn't have as much of a toll on them, and I don't think Sakura would be expending as much chakra. (That's what I initially was kind of getting at...) Theoretically, is this how things can work out? 

 

Besides, if I'm not mistaken, their severed arms must be close to where they're lying, so while there is some debris, the search won't be as exhaustive, since it's easier to narrow down their location.

The stubs of their arms look a little too clean, though, I think. I think if they had burned off, they wouldn't be so even. I don't know.

Our fandom has reached the point where we can look at the story as a whole and this movie to consider the writing that has been put into each of these pairings if they are supposed to be end game. We've even had professional screen writers take a look at our case and I don't see the point in panicing anymore.

All of that would hinge on whether the Byakugou's regenerative effects can be remotely applied through Katsuyu and transmitted to the Kages. Even if it were so, you're confronted with an issue of redundancy with Sakura expending chakra to conjure up a boss sized summoning and use the Remote Healing technique when the basic alternative skips those added steps.

Lifting some minor debris should be easy for Sakura if her strength is actually capable of handling rocks that weigh a significant amount. I don't personally believe that there's much of anything remaining to scavenge for. The Rasengan's turbulence coupled with the inextinguishable flames of Amaterasu on top of a Chidori coming into contact as they did would have likely had an explosive effect and the arms would have likely been destroyed.

Those are all valid points. I agree. 

 

One more thing that comes to mind, though, is that if Sakura were able to perfectly regenerate Naruto's arm, why would he feel the need to bandage his arm like that? Is there something for him to conceal, after all? Also, would she be able to do this process over a certain period of time to both boys, so that it doesn't exhaust her too much? Of course, perhaps Sasuke might decide to forgo regeneration and will simply accept her patching up the wound. (Of course, I personally want to see them both restored as much as possible- hence, my emphasis on trying to reattach their arms, if they can be found, and trying to see if it's a more energetically favorable route.)

 

Moreover, due to having Uzumaki blood, I have a feeling that Naruto's lifespan won't be affected too badly. Besides, he went through worse during his tailed-form transformations, before he forged a bond with Kurama. However, I have to wonder how Sasuke's lifespan would be affected. I'm guessing that specializing in dojutsu won't necessarily work in his favor, in that regard?

We technically had that in the manga, though, with Kaguya, not to mention that Naruto accuses Hagoromjo of the same thing. Makes you wonder what those kids read/watch in their spare time.

Her goal was to originally use the White Zetsu to claim all the chakra in the world, just as centuries ago she used the Infinite Tsukuyomi to end war by force due to her being corrupted by her power.

On the matter of the movie :

 

The good : Pretty villain, animation looks clean, girls are pretty, Shino and Kiba are sexy and badass.

 

The bad : NH crap, it irritates me that Kishi thinks a suicide confession wasn't enough and that she needs to do more for Naruto to finally deserve a simple rejection that should have been done years before. Makes Naruto looks like an uncaring dbag.

Also it's likely Naruto didn't confess during those 2 years.

Kiba and Shino will only appear for a millisecond in spite of having the best design.

Sasuke won't be relevant.

 

The uglies : Naruto and Gaara, from cute kids to ugly adults with terrible fashion sense.
