As for the next ones, I'm expecting a SS interaction (like the one in the Dragon Quest manga) but I'm 300% that NS will end Canon.

I really hope there isn't anything from dragonquest for SS incoming moment. If sakura goes to sasuke and still tells him she loves him and wants him to comes home bla bla bla, i'd just think.... whats the point of her development if she will just revert to chasing after sasuke?

You know what's funny, when Minato saw the "abusive" part of NaruSaku, he smiled because it reminded of him and Kushina, which that means MinaKushi had an "abusive" relationship. Gotta love Kushina with her fist raising hell. Minato must went through rough time in a good way. Lol. I can't help but laugh at how Sakura headbutt Naruto. That's class.

Eh... I'm not going to respond to each of those quotes individually because there's no need to (and I have to finish my HW ), but I think the thing all those posters have in common are that they're looking at the facts and trying to bend them to support NH/anti-NS. It really does remind me of the people saying that Minato meant "a friend that is a girl" instead of "a lover." In reality, Minato asked Naruto if he and Sakura were in a romantic relationship, Naruto answered yes but was hesitant knowing it was a bit complicated, which led to a flustered/frustrated Sakura punishing Naruto for his big mouth. But some people can't accept the fact that Sakura is the only character Naruto has any romantic interest in, so they try to pass it off as comic-relief, and trying to "lighten the mood," whatever the hell that means.

Some good posts relating to this I found on Tumblr; 1.) Why are Sakura's punches/hits abusive, while this scene was only important for comedic purposes? Seems like a double standard to me. 2.) Even if the girlfriend scene was only put in for comedy, the last page where Naruto smiles fondly at Sakura definitely wasn't meant to be funny. Without a doubt, that was a serious NS moment.

Also, those posters are really underestimating the importance/power of parallels in this manga. If they actually noticed how many of them there are, maybe they would realize having the largest canon pairing (MinaKushi) on your side is a big plus. The "find someone like your mother" line just became 2x more important to NS this week.

And I'm just sick of the SS reaction. She looked at him in surprise. Sasuke didn't even spare her a second glance! It really speaks for the condition of SasuSaku when the two characters looking at each other is considered a romantic moment. There's just nothing there. I think Kishi could have done a lot more with those two, but he didn't. Even in the ending, Sakura wanted to prove herself and wanted Naruto's acknowledgement. She was talking to Naruto, not Sasuke. Naruto smiled fondly at Sakura, not Hinata. And then I just see more double standards. So apparently the hero's feelings will randomly change, but the girl who has mixed feelings won't? Yeah...right.

The bottom line is that Naruto and Sakura are as close as ever, Hinata is nowhere in sight, and Sasuke couldn't care less. NS isn't canon yet, but I can feel it coming.

This is a good post. I do believe some by most people didn't realize how big of a statement on Minato's partaking in the NS growth. His words to Sakura was a father's blessing that acknowledged her to be his son's mate and possibly in wedlock. This is huge and one of the best canon or nearly canon moments in NS history and sure to be the turning point once again of the pairing wars.

It's very typical the they would negate everything that pointed in NS's direction.

The debates I have with SS shippers is that they are desperately coming up with a bunch of nonsense arguments, stating that Sakura was wary of Sasuke because h tried to kill her before. I asked them this question, did this stop Karin from trampling him with hugs rather if it was an act or not, knowing that he nearly killed her? Why didn't Sakura confessed her feeling to him, knowing Sasuke is a good guy once again after they boasting how much Sasuke's darkside prevented her from opening up to him in Part 2 for many years? Non one SS shipper could answer me without trolling

With her expression when she saw him I doubt she will want him to return. In fact she's not going to approve of him becoming Hokage like everyone else. Obviously they're going to vote for Naruto instead as expected.

So since kishi did give us a NS moment, even as just a ship tease and a parallel confirmation, what do you think will happen the moment they see one of these 3 things happen (if they do):

1. If Hinata basically goes supporting NaruSaku?
2. If Sasuke tells Sakura the same stuff kakashi told Rin?
3. Sakura herself gets over Sasuke and admits it to Naruto?

Minato must be a public enemy now for his statement So much for any arguments of Hinata being like Kushina or Minato. If they get angry at naruto though, well they can't have their pairing without naruto now can they.

I did hear one funny quote from a hater, it was really amusing. "NS died back in 469 but apparently like all those other characters, it was reanimated with the edo tensei at the cost of NejiHina, now kishimotos statement makes me feel that with Minato, it sadly may become rinne tenseied like Madara is hoping too.

Well funny thing is, it never died.

Okay, honestly, all the comments from other fandoms or whatever are just in extreme denial and many of their "arguments" are very double standard. I also notice that most of the stuff they accuse us of doing, they do ten times fold or worse.

This is always my favorite:
"NS fans don't know that a boy and a girl can be just friends"

Yeah, we do know this. We know Naruto and Hinata are just friends or at least that is how Naruto sees it anyway. It's them that can;t see that fact, but accuse us. Most of the arguments can be used against NH as well and maybe even more so than NS.

This is why I just ignore it and say "You're just mad cause you didn't get what you wanted."

Did you also watch the Dragon Quest anime?

Cool! I though everybody had forgotten about it (I watched it for first time in the middle nineties. TV channels were running out of Dragon Ball episodes to air, so they tried to pass Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken like another DB sequel).

Regarding the white-haired boy, I am sure of you are refering to Hyunkel. Anyway, that love polygon had no resolution in the series. Quoting tvtropes:

Played straight when Shrinking Violet Merle, during a decisive battle against Vearn's army protects Pop from death using her body as a shield. Pop freaks out wondering why someone like her would risk her life to protect a worthless loser like him, which makes Leona finally lose it and brutally reveal (on his face, no less) that Merle has been in love with him since ever and he is worth a lot for her. Of course, Pop gets shocked by this revelation but that's only the beginning, because...
◦Merle blames herself for not having enough courage to confess her love when she had the chance, and begs Pop to say the name of the woman he loves, so she could learn what real courage looks like. After a moment of hesitation, Pops ask her to forgive him, because the woman he loves is Maamu. I guarantee that Sakura will not NOT revert to her old ways regarding Sasuke. Sure it will come up (it kind of has to), but we will see a reaction from Sakura like no other.

I also find it funny when people brush Naruto's answer as a joke. It's like...joking about cheating on your girlfriend.
Honestly, he wouldn't do that, this also means that Hinata is friendzoned and not a potentional mate.

But I feel like if they see Hinata happy and maybe even supporting NS(this could give her development too, she should move on ) they wouldn't be that angry.

What would make my day is that if someone tells Naruto or Sakura "I can see the way you feel". Maybe Sai to Sakura? I don't know if I'm hoping too much anymore, because this NS packed chapter was more than I expected.

Yeah, I do see what you mean. Also, ObiRin is still ongoing, but at this point, it's overkill because MinaKushi parallel is now confirmed. But....if Kishi insist, I am not arguing.

Guess its time for another theory regarding Sakura's powerup but related to NS stuff. When she reveals this power, what if we get another NS moment along the lines of Naruto again going, "She never ceases to amaze me." or "Sakura you are awesome." Heck the mother of all these would be if he makes a forehead compliment slip out and if she later cross examines this stuff with Sasuke in a situation like this:

*Sakura reveals her power, a symbol appears on her forehead*
Naruto: "Wow Sakura, that symbol makes your forehead look more charming than I remember."
Sakura: 'What? What did you say?" *Looks at Sasuke* "Sasuke didn't you say something about my forehead the first day we became a team?"
Sasuke: "What are you talking about? All I remembered that day is Naruto ambushing me and -" (Sasuke doesn't give an f).
Naruto: *cuts Sasuke off* "Hey guys lets remember what we came here to do, save the world."
Sakura: *Looks at Naruto and smiles*

Just imagine if something related to the forehead compliment comes up, can you image the shock towards all NH and SS fans, it would be a turning point for Sakura. It would only nail the Sakura-Kushina parallel in harder.

If Minato commented on Sakura been like Kushina then no doubt Naruto will compliment her forehead just like Minato compliment Kushina's hair to finally finish the parallel. I have a feeling it will happen soon and then Sakura will realize it was Naruto all along who knew her so well.
