Yes I really want Kishi using reference from the movie when Minato talks to Naruto and Sakura since opposite fandoms have no problem saying the movie is "filler" and has nothing to do with the canon manga.

Yeah that would be too funny, if not in the coming chapter then hopefully as soon as minato leaves.

It's not like he changed the way the characters interacted with eachother, they would not behave different if these events occurred in the manga.

As long as it is the work of Masashi Kishimoto and his characters, I will take it seriously.

Guys, maybe Minato won't interact at all with Sakura. Maybe he'll comment at her but not talking to her, or maybe he will talk to her and not comment at her, or he won't talk to her nor comment at her. The last option isn't having being trolled. It's just Kishi avoided Minato's interaction with Sakura for a purpose, and we all know what it is.

Just for not to be in shock, keep in mind that Minato will talk to Naruto, but maybe Sakura won't interfere or will talk to her.

C'mon, are we now changing the definition of what constitutes filler?

The reason other fandoms feel comfortable calling it filler is because it is filler. It's a movie, that right now, was created and exists seperate from the manga. It is not part of the manga and has not been incorporated into it by any kind of reference.

I suppose it's not "filler" in the truest sense of the term (i.e. it wasn't written to fill space so that the anime did not catch up to the manga), but otherwise, it constitutes what most people mean when they say it, and more importantly, the implied meaning as to it's relavnce (i.e. it doesn't matter) when people use the world "filler" certainly applies.

That it did not "change the way characters interacted" does not matter. Until otherwise stated by the other, it has not happen in the canon universe.

If you want to try to make something of it then compare Kishimoto's involvement in this compared to others and look at the result. I still think that is a bridge too far and constitutes a massive leap in logic that has little evidence to support it, but it's better that trying to deny that it's filler.

But really, Naruto will say "Thank you, Sakura-chan" and Minato will look at them, raise an eyebrow and smile. I've got money on that. It won't be huge it'll just be just subtle enough to allow for one of these. ---->

- The gift being the other half of Kuruma's chakra
- Sasuke and others are already there/ Not there but drawing near
- Tsunade and others finally shown what's next for them

Least possible
- Minato and Naruto have no discussion

There you have it. I don't know what's going to happen and I know I am ignoring the spoiler because I remember when Shadow showed it, I completely ignore this forum. I want my excitement to come from the release. But man, I feel nervous because of the list above. 4th chapter of the volume. Around 8th or 9th is where it starts drawing the conclusion to the volume. I hope it goes well.

Actually the previous chapters included Sakura so having her disapear like Sai now feels a bit odd. Considering your review Chatte to have Kishi hide Sakura without any reason now is an epic fail.
Heck he even draw them similar. Omg not sure about the next chapter but the volume will be awesome.
Yet not sure if the parallel plot will be adressed here. Maybe when Minato will be at peace he will say something.

Not sure about that but didn't Kishi say that all the little clues in the manga will have a meaning later in the manga ? ( if someone could confirm it ). So maybe the " find a girl like your mother" will be confirmed by Minato altough I expect that to happen when Minato leaves like phenix said.

As for now I just want some interaction between Naruto Sakura and Minato and some Minato's badassness.

Nothing will solidify in canon for many people, I mean there's already many clues that shows NS is endgame yet people choose to ignore it. Well at least it will be confirmed for us.
Anyway going by this interview it's now or never for it to be confirmed this is most likely the last time we will see Minato and i doubt Kushina will be ressurected. There's so many possibilities, let's see how Kishi handles that and if he does it in a satisfying way.

He did say something like that. Which is why side characters were getting their closure because Kishi wanted to end everything about that and now that we're moving to main characters, it's time to close them. Well, not close but enough to leave the final development for the end.

I do wonder how long the healing part will take. We just got started in the last chapter, so how long now. It was a bit while for Kakashi, so Naruto might be the same length. I do hope so because the alliance should continue to fight for Naruto and Naruto can just gain the momentum to recover and make the big impact. Plus, it seems like Killer Bee will take frontline in order to make sure Juubi don't go insane. I mean yes Minato can teleport those bombs, but since it's a weapon, there's a limit. I want Naruto to make a grand entrance after being healed by Sakura. Funny, the world depends on Sakura. Who wouldn't guess. Another thing is that Kuruma hasn't appeared in a while because he's recovering and we don't know how long we have to wait for him. So yeah, hopefully the struggle continues.

I think the healing will take long enough for everybody to do something. I see Minato taking command of the alliance and counter attacking and we get to see some of the other characters doing something.

I think Kiba, Sai, Tenten and Shino are left.

Thou it could take longer until the other kages or Sasuke arrives.
Killer bee is an odd one.
Well more odd is the scene with the 8 beasts all over Naruto. Yet the Hachibi is gone. And I wonder what will happen to Killer bee. I don't think if he will die, that he will die here. It should at least be when the raikage joins the fight too.

It's Saku-chan screentime this time Kishimoto. Please, show us that you didn't forget her developpement, and specially with Naruto!
How the last chapter ended was kinda positive in my point of view. I mean, come on, we got Minato in front of Naruto and Sakura, who was healing him goddamn!!
I'm probably not the only one who was thinking about RTN. I don't forget that Kishimoto is the author of the movie, and seeing Naruto's father in Saku-chan's presence... there must happen something.
What will Minato say after seeing his son with Saku-chan?
And Hinata is there too, maybe we will have some hints about her moving on!

Minato knows everything about his son, like Kushina, who lived inside him during his whole life, so he probably knows about the girl Naruto is in love with.
Hope this chapter will kick asses. We need to get an end about this pairing war, and take a good time watching in th elast developpement between Naruto and Saku-chan.
No hate for Hinata or anything else, but I saw her enough in the manga right now, she had her time with Naruto, even if he didn't show her romance, it's time now for Sakura to shine.

I read a lot people (no need to say who) saying that Sakura will only have screentime when Sasuke will arrive.
Okay, I may agree with them, but... this is what I'm waiting for. Seeing Sakura have screentime in Naruto's most important matter in his life : Sasuke.
I don't expect some lovey dovey moments between Sakura and Sasuke, but more like hints in her unknown feelings for Naruto. And Sasuke's presence is needed in this case.

Sasuke's presence has influence in Naruto's feelings too (he always shows pain or sadness when he sees her with Sasuke), so, I think it's a positive thing.
Anyway, I'm really impatient, and I know I won't sleep until chapter's out tomorrow. xD
