One question in particular is what do you hope to do with your writing in the future? 

 

Isayama said: "I'd like the series to have a good ending, but I feel that'll be kinda hard, though...  Before it became so popular, I thought of bunch of irresponsible endings, but the environment is different now, and I feel more strongly that I can't do something like that. I hope I can take responsibility and come up with a good ending.  If I can just give the readers and the people I know a moment of joy and let them get lost in the story,   then I think it will have succeeded as a story. So I hope that I can finish it without disappointing anyone."

I guess they're making less episodes than the first season in order to make more seasons in the future. I think the last thing the anime studio wants is another long hiatus that took years.

Yeah I'm a little disappointed because the arc after The Clash of The Titans is not only my favorite arc, but we learn alot when it comes to the titans themselves, and one particular character goes through alot of development (without giving away spoilers) because of the events from the Clash of the Titans Arc.

Ah yeah the Uprising arc, the longest in the series. I read that one the most, though I hear its the least liked arc in the series with some saying its when the series went down hill.

Same here.. It's the least liked because the arc isn't revolving around the titans mainly, and more on the political aspect.. which to me I actually it was kinda refreshing because it was different, and somehow managed to organically fit the titans aspect in pretty well.    The other reason why it was the least arc was the pacing when it was coming out monthly at the time which I can kinda agree on... Though I really feel the arc is benefited reading it from a volumes perspective since you don't have to wait every month, and you can just immediately jump to the next chapter.

 

I also feel like people really exaggerate when they say the series went downhill because it was a pivotal thing the story needed to cover and it was placed perfectly in the story, and what some people don't really understand is that some if not most of the characters experienced alot of development two in particular who this arc really centered around, and where they currently are in the series at the moment.

12 episodes long meaning each episode covers a lot of things and will have long length of time. I think we'll see The Clash of The Titans Arc cause it doesn't take too long till we to The Clash of Titans Arc, right ?

Yeah each arc has been about 4 volumes long with the exception of  the uprising arc and the wall maria arc being 5 volumes.  and as far as I can remember the first arc was about 12 episodes = first 4 volumes of the series,  female titan arc was  episodes 13-25 = volumes 4-8.   So since season 2 is only 12 episodes that means it'll cover volumes 9-12 which covers the entirety of the Clash of The Titans Arc.

Why is there a dinosaur? Why is there a whale? That doesn't fit the series or the beast titan in any way. If they give him some sort of power outside of

beast titan powers

throwing stuff and controlling titans

I'll scream.

 

The ending spoiled 384920 things, but you can't make out what any of them are without having read the manga. Pretty good on their part.

 

As for pairings:

 

- Connie x Sasha going strong in the opening. I love how Sasha keeps looking concerned for Connie in this episode.

- Marlowe and Hitch looking great together. Hitch is much more beautiful in the anime than she is in the manga.

- Christa and Ymir are gay, like always.

- Finally, saving the best for last. That bit where Mikasa was there for Eren and his mother told him to be there for her as well. Can't wait for "that" moment in the anime. Give me some shipping babies.

Oh come on. It had that crappy pacing political arc for a year, but that is long gone. Outside of those 15ish chapters, the other 76 chapters have been amazing. Isayama even said he was sorry about that, and he would change how it was handled with the anime version of it. The manga is going hard right now. Holding a grudge on this anime for 1 year of horrible pacing is like being mad at One Piece for the horribly paced 2 year Dressrosa arc.

I'd agree.. and the Uprising Arc while it is personally my favorite arc.. I think it's a lot better reading in volume format since you don't have to wait so many months for it to come to an end, and I'll admit that was my big issue with it to reading it monthly.. As slow as it may get, the arc really did focus on character development and world building. I mean if this was the final arc then I'd have some major issues with it. I'll admit the Wall Maria arc had it's issues too when it came to pacing, but it quickly picked up to the ending with chapter 90.  Chapter 91 did throw me off a bit cause I was a bit confused with its placement in timeline, but still i'm looking forward to the next chapter. Plus lik you said, since Isayama fix the pacing of the uprising arc in the anime I think it'll turn out better than the manga, whenever the time comes for that to get animated. 

 

I'll admit Dressrosa dragged on for too long for me personally I mean it was good, but the pacing kinda killed it for me.

I like them, but not turning the anime into romance. I want to see fantasy, thriller and mystery XD

 

Probably there will moments for them in this season
