I'll bet that fans will go more irate than the election if Erza wins. I got a feeling she will win.

If past death battle episodes taught me anything is that regardless of who wins, screwattack is going to piss off a fanbase. Especially ones involving anime characters

I know nothing about Fairy tail, but I do know Erza is basically Sasuke with the ability to do anything because she's Erza, but aren't most of her armors and powers meant to hurt people with magic?

Pretty much. One of her armor sets gives her a different power. She's one of the worst characters lol

I find it odd that they would even pair him up against someone like her when we still haven't gotten to see what he can really do   He hasn't had a real challenge since the time skip. That's the problem with picking characters in on going manga. I would have preferred him go up against Kenpachi, or even Kenshin.

The only thing I do know is that her most powerful armor is "plot" armor   Aside from that I would think that things would come down to how they stand without the aid of anything except raw power and feats. Is Erza's magic endless? Doesn't she need it in order to summon her gear? If she does then perhaps that would be a weakness?

No, her magic isn't endless. Her most powerful armor is plot armor, as you mentioned. She wouldn't be able to counter Haki, tbh. Zero would crush her easily.
