But why would he give up at the very end? That's like a runner deciding to throw in the towel only steps away from the finish line.

No one started acting OOC until the last two chapters. Also, why keep hinting at and developing NS until almost the very end with no focus on NH?

Does anyone here think something might be going on?

 

He didn't gave up at the end. He was already quite desinterested since the middle parts of the war arc.

After the beginning of the last production (2012) he hinted on NS to mislead and keep the pairing teases up. 

Now why he didn't try to make NH or SS more believable is beyond me...maybe he is just dumb

 

Naruto's character was falling into a kitten Messiah archtype since a long time ago, sasuke's fickleness was annoying and irritating, but he kinda saved himself with the revolution idea, at the end he simply forgot about it tho, and I don't need to even talk about how much Sakura's character got butchered, do I? Acting like a freaking child everytime Sasuke verbally attacked her, everytime

Lmao, I forgot that Shikamaru hates him. Hopefully Shikamaru's relatively still the same. I like the fact that he never cared for Sasuke like the others do so much.The manga being named Naruto was obviously a red herring.

I'm starting not to like Sasuke and Hinata at all. I'm not gonna bash them, but I feel like both those characters have ruined the franchise for obvious reasons with Sasuke having redemption without consequences, and Hinata getting Naruto out of pity from the author, and screwing over Naruto and Sakura, having them both act like something they aren't. Just thinking about it makes me want to flip a table.

Exactly. How dumb. I can't believe that twist happened. I mean I gasped but I admit, I should have thought the same as my best friend, it should have been Orochimaru. That would be a hell of a twist. Instead, we got someone just now introduced. Then if you do look back, it only seem so out of place.

You know I kept telling everyone that Kishi brought Orochimaru back for a reason and I couldn't wait to see what it was. I kept thinking that he's gonna be the final villian cause this series started with him and it'll end with him. However we didn't get that and it left a huge disappointment not to mention Kishi going like "Yeah Don't worry he'll be in Part 3."   masssive facepalm. 

 

 

Again like I said earlier today this is another reason why I know Kubo will succeed with Aizen where Kishi failed with Orochimaru.  

Who knew that the first villain ever that last long would be back to the part that the MC has no involvement, instead his child would. What? Just what? I don't even know if he is coming back but who the kitten cares. No buys.

Once you have the supposedly supporting main character be the person to close off the series, that's when I really start questioning who the real main character is. Sasuke got everything during that chapter.

I've been home sick and monitoring this thread on and off all day.  There have been very few off-topic posts.

 

And mods are not going to hassle people who take threads off topic once in a while; it's the chronic, repeat offenders who get our attention.

 

It's not difficult to stay on topic.  If you're not interested in what's being discussed, go post on the random thread.  That's why it's there.

The warning points I have are because of you and by that time I wasn't the only one posting "off topic" and not everyone got the same. I don't believe you picked me, but you didn't see a few other ones.
Mods are not going to hassle people who take threads off topic once in a while? That's unfair. If there is a rule, you can't be chosing who should obey and who can go with it, it doesn't matter if it's their first time or they don't it once in a while. That's not the treatment you gave to me when I won the warning points, is it? I think is hypocrite.
I haven't receive another warning point while you weren't here about being off topic. And I believe I should have, but everyone was off topic and angry anyway, that's probably why they didn't do anything. 
Anyway, what I'm saying is "decide". All or nothing.

But it is! It really, really, is! I don't remember asking for the dead, like Zabuza, Haku, or even Hokages. Just use the guys who are still alive and that's it. Don't go dig a corpse or two or kittenload of them. So stupid. Even Bleach wouldn't do this and they're not even human, kind of, sort of, who knows.

it's disgusting, his hate for women is too obvious. and i don't buy the bs that he actually liked sakura's character, because if he did he wouldn't have sakura continue to pin after sasuke who is basically her kryptonite. the only character who i can say that kishi truly loved, was obito. that despicable terrorist not only got the woman that he loved, he got sent off to the afterlife with a compliment from his victim.

No, it's not going to be all or nothing because it doesn't have to be that black and white.  It isn't a big deal if a post is off-topic once in a while.  It happens, and most people understand it's against the rules and self-correct.  They don't abuse the patience of the on-topic posters and site staff.

 

But some people not only don't self-correct, but they post off-topic a lot of the time and drag other users off-topic, and sometimes it goes on and on for pages until other people complain or a mod has to step in.

 

If I'm not mistaken, your first post on this thread tonight was about Eir Aoi, and every post you made after that was also off-topic.  All of it should have been posted on the random thread, not in the middle of the Naruto discussion.

 

My question about the relevance of llamas was a not-so-subtle hint for all users -- not just you -- to avoid interrupting ongoing discussions for no reason.

I'm not even in the site anymore. Every time I post here or anywhere is about off topic things or funny things about Naruto because I only come here once in weeks. I comment something AND reply to the ones who reply AT me. I explained my desire of deleting my account not so much ago but I'm here because of my friends and the people in general that are nice but not my friends.
It's not like right now I'm making everyone go off topic, they just answer me (the ones who wants to) and then forget it and keep talking about other off topic things or Naruto when they come up with another idea.

So, apply that "thing" to me because I'm not even here most of the time. 
You carried this away, those two comments (the singer and the llamas) were my posts of the day, so, yeah, I'm going for now. I'll be coming back in +100 more pages.

i really am disgusted with myself for ever liking this series. i mean, i saw the early signs, but i just brushed it off as nothing to be concerned about. i questioned the things he's done at times, but i believed that no matter how ugly it got that ns would pull through.

Part 1 and 2 were all about Sasuke, and I completely expected the ending and part 3 to be about Sasuke as well. Who knew it would switch in an instant and have Hinata throw the whole series over. Sasuke's completely irrelevant now. It's all about Hinata. 

 

Both characters have ruined the series: Sasuke in the beginning and Hinata in whatever's to come. They both superceded Naruto and Sakura in getting what they wanted while doing so little to deserve it.

I'm disgusted with every Naruto fan out there. Because how. How...can you accept this ending. How. If the only characters you cared about were Naruto and Sasuke, it would still not make any sense. Sasuke is literally not even around his kids. Naruto is too busy for his kids. Where is Team Taka. Where is Orochimaru. 

 

Why are people satisfied with this d*mn ending.
