No it's platonic. Kishi will not change what he write/draw. He will just retcon and asspull it so it become justified.If she/he got confident again then probably isn't platonic...?

Sorry, I didn't try to make it seem like I was blaming Sakura, I was just expressing frustration with the situation as you described. SP having Sakura say that to Naruto would be disgusting, especially if SP is hypocritical enough to forget Sakura and Ino's rivalry.
Yeah, I'm so disgusted with SP too. I'm so disgusted with how they portray every character and every bond that doesn't have Hinata in it.

With the way things are going it sounds like their relationship won't even be platonic. I mean her telling Naruto that "you only liked me because of your rivalry with Sasuke" is really insulting, and he should be really angry that she would say that.
