I hate how SS fans say Sakura is just a "prize" to Naruto yet ignore the fact that Naruto is a "prize" to Hinata. They try to make NS out to be "unhealthy" when they all know deep down that their sugar-coated sasusaku BS is the real abusive unhealthy pairing.

Not just the fact that Naruto is a prize to Hinata, but that Sasuke is a prize to Sakura.

It's classic projection by those who simply have no reasonable argument to counter the arguments about them and their beliefs, but simply don't want to admit that everything they're saying about the opposition is actually what is attributed to themselves and their beliefs. They also know it's true, but they will try their hardest never to admit it and keep pushing it onto the "enemy" in order to make themselves and their beliefs look better, no matter what evidence is presented to them (while they never offer anything reasonable in return and constantly try to shift the goalposts or steer the argument in a different direction, hence why almost every extremist NH/SS fan will, once their argument is shot down, always resort to going, "You're just mad because your pairing isn't canon!") but any logical person can easily see through it..

Believe me dude I used to read lots of sasusaku fanfics. That crap is OOC as hell. Naruto's usually tossed off to Hinata and they make Sasuke out to be this seductive Edward Cullen guy.

Exactly, it baffles my mind how they so conveniently forget these details, or try their hardest not to see it. But they know what it is.

I truly don't see how she truly loves him. Her love for him is just an illusion. There is no possible way she could have truly fell in love with him. Either that or her love is forced by Kishimoto.

At the beginning yes but Sakura lost out at the end by getting a criminal who tried to kill her.

Yeah, if the fanfic is good, with actual development and interaction and whatnot, then I can actually enjoy them, but if it's really obvious wish fulfillment/self-insert/bashing of the other guy/girl and/or being really OOC with their favored character(s) without actually altering the story itself and explaining why/how they're like that and such, then...ugh...

The only reason sakura loves sasuke is because

-Bench scene, she thinks sasuke is the only person who acknowledge and can fulfill her dream

-He is cool and handsome guy alot of her classmate including her rival ino chase him, she thinks if she also chase sasuke everyone who bullied her will stop and acknowledge her, she thinks its cool if she has a boyfriend like that.

-That famous SS scene when sasuke leaving konoha to orochimaru, when sasuke say thank you to sakura and then put her to sleep, she thinks he love her. That's why she cannot kill sasuke when she had a chance at that bridge resulting she almost get killed by him and ofc thanks to naruto she survive.

 

Thats pretty much it for main reason, other reason that i believe also take part but never been explain by kishi:

-Because she still young and don't understand alot of things, even kushina admit she thinks minato behave like a girl and can't be dependable because she still young/immature. Same to sakura naruto is nuisance anoying, and always get in her way of being with sasuke.

 

Sakura never understand sasuke and sasuke never understand sakura. Sakura doesn't have any dream, all she have is daydreaming about sasuke.

About the trophy , trophy is object without soul the only think i agree is yes Hinata treat naruto as a trophy for her because she doesn't care about her sister her clan her friends she discard everything she have just to get naruto. But i don't realy agree about SS as trophy. If someone ask sakura "Hey sakura why do you love sasuke when he doesn't care and never come home to take care of you or sarada?" ,all she can do is silent and think about bench scene or that thank you scene when sasuke leave to orochimaru.

 

Some SS fans even comparing things like they said naruto never gave up on his dream of become hokage so sakura too never gave up on chasing sasuke that is true love and they think that is very sweet. You know never give up is good, but you are about to spend THE REST of your LIFE with a guy that never care about you. Sometimes give up and accept defeat is not a bad idea , i agree to what orochimaru said to jiraya when he force orochimaru to come back to konoha "THERES LIMIT TO STUPIDITY".

Theres almost thin line between NEVER GIVE UP and STUPIDITY.

@LuckyChi It could have happened when Naruto came back from his 2 1/2 training trip with Jairaya. The way Sakura was blushing at him showed us everything we needed to know about where her feelings was going. But Kishimoto was too scared to let it happen.

 

 

Hmm when you put it that way for Sakura yeah I could see how that fits. 

 

He's a complete disgrace to the name Author or mangaka. I've never seen someone completely disregard everything like that, it makes me feel sick just thinking about it. Someone I once considered as a good story teller has now fallen to levels below Twilight, and that's something I regret now. Thanks alot Kishi your failure towards Naruto now makes other manga more superior.
