I want to see it! Because that would mean Naruto and Sakura will meet Minato (now possible) and they can work together (chapter 573).

I would be so happy if they faced minato together ! She already met them in the movie so I think she will meet him in the manga. But what do you mean work together ? Minata seems to be fine, I don't know if kishi will turn minato against them.

I get it now. If Kishi didn't focus in misleading us with NH and SS then it would be too obvious that NS is the end game given scenes like these one.

Kishi wants people to feel doubt until it's time for the reveal. It's the same thing that happened with the whole Tobito theory.

I can't believe anyone would say this is a concidence. It just ... no. It was the spoilers of this scene and the MinaKushi flashbacks added in to parallel the Kyuubi Attack while Naruto was fighting that made me scream for several weeks NaruSaku was as good as canon ... undeniably. I don't usually do that lol but I couldn't believe how obvious it was.

redragon88, that's most likely exactly what Kishimoto is trying to pull with this. He made NaruSaku more obvious than it ever has been in RtN, at least in such a short amount of time. He practically confirmed it to be a parallel to MinaKushi. However, even though his end pairing is clear through this movie, Kishimoto can still keep up the pairing ambiguity because of those fans who deny it's merit and say it's a movie, it means nothing to the actual storyline. Besides the fact we can use Sakura & Naruto's behavior as canon proof but I digress.

One thing's for sure. NaruHina fans are not going to be very happy with this movie, even if they say it doesn't count. I mean, all that touching, MK parallels, and Kushina's teasing pro-NS comment? That's gotta be one stinging, painful burn for them.

What's even funnier is that they've dedicated their art to MenmaHina. When really, it's suppose to be MenmaSaku, since Menma has eyes only for Sakura, not Hinata or any other girl. LOL

I don't see the reason to have Sakura have such a big place in this movie, other than to troll those NaruSaku fans again. Don't know why they're still hoping. I find it hilarious how so many NaruSaku fans say stuff about NS being "so obvious" in this movie when the movie hasn't even come out yet.

It's also a reason to believe the movie is just a "troll" as they put it.

Honestly, I'm somewhat frustrated with what's going on with our pairing's standing as of currently. But as red said, it could be just like the whole Tobito theory. It's best not too get too overconfident with our pairing either, because Kishi has proven himself to be pretty unpredictable with recent events. So, nothing is 100% set in stone with our pairing. Period.

I totally get that. I've always said NaruHina is possible, it has a chance. I say it has the potential of having a higher chance than before. See. Key word: potential. It depends entirely on what road Kishimoto decides to take post-615-617. There isn't very much proof that it will lead that way but there isn't solid proof that it isn't. That's how it stands currently, as annoying as it is.

But I have my own opinions. I have my own interpretation of things and I'm still very confident in NaruSaku. I don't think it's a troll because Kishimoto made Sakura go through this deep searching phase to understand Naruto and showed the strength of their bond, slight hints saying it may be romantic. I don't understand the point of so much focus on the NS relationship if it's a troll. That could've been Hinata the one to go through understanding Naruto, you know. Why not her then? And like I said, there really isn't any hints that Naruto sees Hinata in anywhere near a romantic light. All friendship. But the potential can be executed, if Kishimoto wishes. We'll have to wait.

My reasons is all the NaruSaku development over the series. It implied more romance on both sides than the NaruHina relationship. Kishimoto may be capable of doing the illogical crap and make an asspull out of NaruHina but I still have enough faith in him and the pairing to not see it so at this moment. Yeah, I'm confident in NaruSaku and surprisingly, isn't very much worried about NH but I'm not arrogant enough to deny the possibility completely. That's what matters, right?

I feel your pain. A nice NaruSaku moment would be welcome right about now, if only to have a somewhat fair ratio of NS vs. NH moments in the war. I see them as Hinata development and simply that but I could be wrong. I believe we will get NaruSaku moments somewhere in this arc. Just not yet, unfortunately. Patience is a virtue.

That's the thing. On a scale of 10 to 0 (10 highest, 0 I'm dropping this manga), my patience is already wearing thin and was on level 2 post 615-617. It's a good thing Kishi brought back the Hokages and raised it to 3-4. Bonus points to showing the first VoTE flashback.

Yeah I remember when he reviewed 450 he immediately started comparing the NS hug with Hermoine hugging Harry (again comparing Naruto to HP ).

Then when he reviewed 457 he was sounding a bit panicked when Sai told Sakura Naruto loves her. Then when he reviewed 469 he sounded so cocky because of Naruto's quote of" I hate people who lie to themselves" . If we jumped all the way to his review of 615 he was cheering declaring NH canon and with 616 he was completely ignoring the big trolling Kishi gave the pairing I just had to laugh at his behavior.

April still feels a long way away, I can honestly I've never been as eager to watch a Naruto movie as much as this one. And fingers crossed, by the time it comes out, the manga will have shifted back to the alliance, and more specifically, Sakura.

They can just say that the movie was last summer and the NaruHina moments (in the manga) came after that-- so obviously Kishi is still going with that pairing at the end of the day. And while I don't agree entirely, it has some logic behind it, especially because the movie... is well, a movie. The NS fanservice would be far more impactful if there was actually something for us in the manga to hold onto recently instead of everything going to the opposing ship.

Ah I think by April the manga will still be focused on Sasuke though. There's only 4 chapters in a month really, and that's if there's no breaks.

It depends. If there's no break, we may shift back around middle of April. I can't say for certain. It all relies on how long the flashback will be. I know that now we're trying to fit all this event in a volume, but around last two could be slowly shifting back to the battle, similar to how we slowly shift back Sasuke. Who knows. Movie will be out in late April. Time will tell.

Time will tell. I'm not denying that there were moments but the problem is it has two ways to be interpreted. So far, it's a friendship. As I said a while back, it needed a follow-up but there's none. This arc is heavily focus on side characters, so it's pretty much hard to feel that they're just side characters. I believe Slextrem said it best when she said that Kishi made side characters seem like main characters with their recent developments. Kishi already said that these characters are going to shine and Kishi has a habit of filling every holes before reaching the end. Hinata got hers. It's questionable that her love even matters, and honestly, I won't be surprised if it never gets touch on again. It wouldn't be the first for anything since couple others has done that.

To be honest, it's also hard to say but I do believe ironically that we may have place Hinata on a pedestal, yet at the same time, I don't even think Kishi really care. He has been placing main characters over many times, though I don't blame him at the slightest bit. It was going well until we hit here. Also, strangely NH moment happened in the middle again. It's funny because people assumed that volume is going to be the end but it's more like end of the middle. Oddly enough, we took a break just before classic Shounen boss battle was about to begin. I find the timing questionable. I know I said it for Darkerst but if Obito is going to get TnJ, shouldn't he be getting that effect right there about friends? He didn't. I always feel that we pass phase 1: friends. Phase 2 can be close bond/love, but who knows. It does feel convenient that Itachi has said Naruto can be Tobi (who's now Obito) if he doesn't do what his dad did. Plus, Hokage talk is back from Naruto, so now it makes me wonder. I'll hold on until we finally get back to the battle.

Here's where we, and the others as well, should notice that there's feeding to the opposite while we know that there's things for us in the future. I'm expecting more NH moments if Hinata will have something to talk or to develop her character if she'll talk with Naruto or he'll talk with about her love, or any other things and SS interactions at the final battle for Sakura's sake, but there's NS.

I think that many are just living the moment as it is now.
