Unique in the series? Or unique in general? Because there are a lot of people, heroines or no, that are just average to begin with outside of Naruto. If you're talking about within the series alone, Id agree with that.

Unique in general. There's not many leading female characters who are like Sakura who like another guy but are the love interest of someone else. Her role is very conflicted.

Well her development has a lot to do with her love issues. Everyone thought that when she chose Sasuke her entire character was destroyed.

Exactly because it was like with Hinata where she should have moved on and choose someone better for her but didn't happen. Sakura got Sasuke where she is miserable. And Hinata is living in a fantasy world where as long age is with Naruto she is happy with the situation even if it is a joke as well.

Kishi wouldn't let her to become a mature woman and Kishi let her become a joke. If it was up to Sakura she would have been with Naruto a long time ago.

She even stated to the point she wonders how this Kishimoto guy treats his own wife, although, she did say it was ok to write people into these type of situations by showing them overcoming the trails you put them through. Ie Abused woman getting her revenge like in the movie Enough. She goes from abused wife to kicking her abusers ass. You don't just stick her with the guy at the end of the story by saying he will change for the better. Since by and far all abusers have said they will never do it again, and guess what they have and will do so again.

Yup and then kicked his ass and marry Naruto because that how the story was progressing, not have her regressed to her part one self then have her marry the person that treated her like crap.

Also, there's really nothing unique about Sakura as a heroine, to be honest.

Her normality is what make her unique heroine.

Like chatte said sakura character grow if she around naruto, and dies while she around sasuke. She never able to stand and protect herself whenever sasuke insult and hurt her , she just gave it up and look pathetic [realy someone need to slap her hard at those time]. While around naruto she can be herself and act without need a mask and guidance of her inner sakura. Simply put sasuke simply destroyed everything about sakura while naruto on the other hand make her like a true Queen.

Naruto thank sakura for healing him and should rest behind sakura reply do you think i'm a weak woman. Let's say that sasuke is the one who said that sakura should rest behind because she is useless and can't do anything, realy i'm sure 100% that sakura will do what he said and stand behind look sad and pathetic.
