What makes NH and the movie so grating is Naruto's parents.  NaruSaku wasn't paralleled to MinaKushi; MinaKushi was paralleled to NaruSaku.  For example, Kushina didn't like her red hair, but Minato did, while Sakura didn't liker her wide forehead, but Naruto does.  In each case there was a girl with a feature she doesn't like about herself, and a boy who likes said feature about her.  That's hardly a coincidence!  Of course, it's not a complete rehash, but the major similarities were there.  Then, there was the "find a girl like me".  It was obviously set up to be something more.  As luffy pointed out, Kishimoto knew he wasn't having Naruto following his mom's parting words, so might as well have him break more than the girl part within the small panel time.

 

They're going to make new parallels in the movie. Probably gonna have Naruto say how much she loves Hinata's eyes or some crap like that lmao

90% likelyhood this battle is over? That is like going to a baseball game, seeing your team loose the game with your very eyes, and then say that there is a 10% chance that your team is going to win...sorry but no. The reality is this whole thing is over now. Time to move on.

i get where your coming from realistically the odds are that we lost. but its probably a good idea to not try to convince others to give up, who knows they may end up being right.

Believe what you want, but a small part of me doesn't quite accept this ending just yet. There are way too many inconsistencies, evidence, and even basic storytelling flaws with this ending. Besides its only been about two days since the last chapters come out. The best example of what I mean is when a Lawyer goes over a past case he has worked on and is considering appealing the verdict due to a mistrial. Part of me accepts and acknowledges this, but the other half is telling me to stay the course until I get dealt an actual death blow.

I'm beginning to accept the half-assed NH/SS ending. My God even starting to find the appeal in it...
It's just so sad that NS had to be sacrificed for it. Naruto's love for Sakura was the only thing that kept me on this pairing even after the trolling moments. But now that he loves and had kids with "Hinata-chan"...

I need to go on a mission to find myself. The fandom's gloating and satisfaction is the worst particularly the Sakura haters. I want to continue shipping NS just to p*ss them off.
