I guess it is pretty pointless to fight with people who write nasty youtube comments. I watched the episode 235 and read the comments just to amuse myself. There are sooo many Sakura haters there. NaruHina fans, SasuNaru fans and simply Sakura flamers. NaruSaku fans are either the minority or they simply don't have the energy to try to reason with the rest. Same thing happened when I read the German sub's comments. Even Germans hate Sakura. And I thought it was just an American thing.

I won't be so suprised by that ,All of the sakura haters hates sakura because she is mean to naruto but that's obvious that they just don't understand the tsundere thing in japanese anime,So all the newcomers to Naruto series see sakura's actions towards Naruto and then suggest that hinata is much better for naruto,That's why there are so much NH fans (Iam not trying bashing anyone but it's the truth).

The main reason for their bashing is because of how she was during part 1. Even I hated it then but I've grown to like her in part 2 because unlike most of them, I actually see progress and are willing to change my initial impression of her. They still believe her to be a Sasuke-worshipping fangirl and that useless kunoichi that can't do anything. Pardon me but that actually mirrors Hinata too so you can see alot of biasness from NH fans. Sakura has proven to be a much better person from part 1. The Sasori fight proves that she is strong enough to beat an Akatsuki member. This should shatter the impression of her being useless in fighting. And also in part 2 she has not really mentioned her love for Sasuke. She didn't show her thoughts of him as anything romantic. Its natural that you think of a former teammate in the way she did. This shows that Sakura bashers are incapable of interpreting stories and are narrow minded.

Exactly if Kishi didn't bother developing NH since part 1 then he's not going to start now.

Manga context, I feel that every time Sakura appears in the Manga they skip that episode only that will explains
the shallow way they see Sakura.

Look Between part 1 Sakura and Part 2 Sakura there is a very BIG difference but the shipping google will not allow them to see that, and to keep supporting the pairing they like is better to ignore Sakuras's growth.

Yeah, they still see the same immature Sakura that Kishi has been trying to show as the developed heroine who trained under the legendary Tsunade. She's not so useless anymore; she's inherited Tsunades power. Truth be told, I hated Sakuras guts in the beginning of part 1. I thought she was annoying, but when near end part 1 came, and then part 2 came, I gained respect for her, so much respect, now she's my favorite character. Although I never read the manga back then when I disliked her, I only watched the anime.. So, uh. I sometimes think that is what also causes some people to hate on Sakura too, the animation team doesn't do a good job at "developing" her character like they do in the manga. They make her out to be the Sasuke fan girl, like that episode in shippuden when she commented on which one she'd save first out of Sasuke and Naruto. That started riots because it was after her confession to Naruto. People don't listen - it is filler, (and a huge mistake on the animation teams part, in my opinion.)


There is absolutely no development shown between Naruto and Hinata - or, at least on Narutos side. Hinata was always the one who hid behind things and watched him. That's all. Same thing with Sasuke, without the stalking on Sakuras part though. Sakura was just all over him, and Sasuke put her down harshly; even though he did comment on her genjutsu. (I do think that it was more of a team effort compliment rather than a romantic one. He even complimented Naruto/Acknowledged Naruto. If anything Sasuke has more of a "romantic" bond with Naruto if anyone in the manga, considering I never really known for two men to have developed such a strong heartacheing bond that drives one of them so forward.. Plus it really doesn't help Sasukes whole asexual factor that Suigetsu was standing butt naked behind him/pressed up against him and Sasuke had no reaction to either move away, or do nothing at all. Just stood there. Sakura really had/has no chance with Sasuke. Neither does Hinata with Naruto, it's just.. bland and undeveloped, like the pieces of popcorn in the bottom of the bowl that are nothing but seeds. NS is the nice and buttery ones. Not bashing, just the truth... and now i want popcorn.

Seriously though, the Sakura beating Naruto argument is barely acceptable anymore. Just think, when was the last time she's actually hurt naruto: The Pein Arc. This shouldn't even count because of what occurs immediately after: The Hug. I mean, even Naruhina and SasuSaku supporters are afraid of using that scene as a Sakura punching Naruto scene simply because of what happens. Then we look at the previous punch before Pein Arc: I can't even remember. Not during Rasenshuriken Arc since Sakura was actually very caring during that arc. I may be forgetting some dumb, random Naruto vs Konohamaru sexy jutsu competition, which even I think is a good enough reason for Sakura hitting him for being plain stupid. But in all honesty, Sakura has been a completely different person for a very long time since then and her part 1 personality. She has become quite the opposite with Naruto, becoming more caring for Naruto.

See, this is why we hate fillers, for those that ask. Eventually, when the time comes for NaruSaku to be canon, the anime producers are just going to have to deal with it, and deal with the people, that just watches anime only, that are going to be really disappointed.

Luckily, Kishi can get out of this one without any turmoil on the final pairing, because well, its his story and he can reference things on his story alone, because he created it, but the anime team? I don't know. They might be asked questions, from angry fans, that is referenced in fillers, and it might turn out ugly for them, which causes them to lose their credibility, which is stupid, because if you really want evidence on pairings, manga proof is your answer. Fillers are suppose to be you know, just some good fun and stuff that is meaningless in the long run, but still provide some good fluff for the fans.

She hits him, he says 'ouch' and maybe gets a bruise but in the next scene he barely has a scratch on. Actually, maybe he likes it. We've never heard him complain and sometimes he acts like he's literally asking for it.

Ha ha, yeah, this is exactly why I try not to bother when someone brings up Sakura hitting Naruto as a way to attack her character or the Naru/Saku pairing. I mean, it's played for comedy. Looking at a comedic scene in a serious context is just asanine, if you ask me. I remember I once heard a basher say that Sakura needs to be thrown in shinobi prison for assaulting her fellow ninja. My response:
"Yeah, and let's throw Elmer Fudd in prison for trying to kill a sentient rabbit. I mean, that rabbit appears to be self-aware, often walks upright, and can TALK! Why would you try to kill it, when you can attempt to learn what caused that mutation?"

Besides, even before I liked the pairing, I never really took the whole tsundere trope as being a bad thing. It shows that (a) she cares enough about him to try to correct his bad behavior, rather than just ignoring or treating him the same way as the rest of villagers, and (b) she seems to feel free to act like herself around him, as opposed to putting on airs or hiding her true nature.

And, yeah like you said, it doesn't really seem like Naruto's resenting Sakura for it, and it does seem like he's sometimes asking for it. Heh heh, I sometimes wonder if he just likes the physical contact.

I think we all think, Sakura just hits Naruto because she is concerned of his actions that may seem too reckless and too pervy. With that in mind, she punches the dude because she cares. Has Hinata done anything other than the cream part, where she seems to care about the guy in a selfless manner?

And we go back to the simplest thing, what are the benefits of Naruto being with Hinata in his perspective as oppose to being with Sakura? And those NS bashers can't say because Hinata cares for him, because Sakura does care for him, a lot more than Hinata, if I may say.

The only time Sakura really hit Naruto badly was mainly at the start of Naruto part 1, like when Naruto got shoved out of the way for Sakura to sit beside Sasuke in part 3. I just belive that Naruto is too much in love with her to not get her. He likes her smile, forehead, and everything else, enough to die for her and let her have her way with himself being happy. I'm pretty sure Kishi isn't making all these plot development just so that Sakura can break naruto's heart in the end and have Naruto lie about how its okay she is picking Sasuke, and then Sasuke dates Sakura without caring about Naruto's love for Sakura, and Hinata accepts Naruto's love after being the backup girl.. that will just miss up every character. This is why:

Hinata is seen as a girl who doesn't mind if Naruto has sex with hookers, as long as he is dating her
Sakura is seen as a undeveloped childish fangirl
Naruto is seen as nothing more than a pimp
Sasuke would be a stealing jerk that despite not deserving anything, still gets the girl..


What kind of message would this be sending? That be a jerk and you get the best girl in the end? No thanks SS and NH fans, your thinking too blindly. Hate that I'm using the "Kishi is the writer thing" but I know that we have all thought of this at least once.
