Holy crap those screenshots ... they're so adorable, I love them! Oh, I wanna see that movie so badly now ... April is too far away damnnit. This movie can't come fast enough. Seeing Sakura getting her heroine spotlight (which she is being neglected of in the manga) and all these NaruSaku moments simultaneously, it's like the perfect movie. With these long-standing NaruSaku drought over the years and all these NaruHina fanservice/Hinata attention we've been forced to bear, RtN NS focus is very much needed as an escape. Hopefully, by April, Kishimoto has Sakura focus and NaruSaku moment to top all of this NaruHina stuff.

Honestly, Kishimoto's favoritism in RtN for the NaruSaku pairing is as clear as day, anyone has to see it. We already heard a lot of NaruSaku have a strong sense as the end pairing in the move but seeing those screenshots just reinforces it, making it screamingly obvious. Seriously, I don't think Naruto and Sakura have been that physically close/touchy feely with each other in such a short amount of time before. All of this contact is implying they're more than friends or at least will be in the future. Even the NaruHina fans, if they've seen these screenshots, have to see it too. Guess that's why they're denying it lol. Seriously, while there was no NS hug or anything like that (I wish ... ), Kishimoto got carried away and abused his power for NS in these one, made even more so by the MinaKushi/NaruSaku parallel being offically confirmed.

Personally, I'm betting Kishimoto is showing the end pairing through this movie by fanservicing so hard and focusing on their bond so badly but he can get away with it because it's a movie and not canon. He's being obvious with NS but isn't revealing his end pairing to everyone because there are always those fans who deny it as proof and it's just Kishi playing around a bit. So, in his eyes, he can still keep up the pairing ambiguity because of the denial of fans, specifically NaruHina.

I believe when he said that the examples he gave were things like not being able to have Minato and Kushina alive and interacting with Naruto, or Naruto having a family life in general since that's the primary theme of the movie it would be what he was commenting on. The movie still has to work as an introduction to Naruto (another thing he commented on) so everything about how the characters act still has to align with canon or else it would be out of place and wouldn't work as an introduction.

I wonder if Sakura's parents fall into the can't do them in canon thing as well in fact there's a lot about Sakura in RtN I would love for Kishi to answer like simply why her? If for arguments sake RtN wasn't any sort of indicator on future development of the manga then why is she the only other character that is from the real universe (I suppose Tobi/Madara still counts too but he barely appears), she didn't have to be her role could still be the same if it was parallel Sakura in that position, the overall story he was telling wouldn't really lose anything but Kishi still chose to use the real her. I'm curious about that aspect of the film's development and Kishi's decisions.

Actually, he could have. Not only that but the interactions were plenty, let alone physical contact. Honestly, he could have made a new character and it won't be bad because many mangaka's own movies have done that, so Kishi is no exception. What's more is that he has the nerve to connect too much of a parallel, let alone reassuring that Naruto still loves Sakura and being teased about it. Sakura is being teased and jealous (Hinata) as well. So again, why are they needed. Why even end with a date request. Just end it with Sakura being happy with her parents. To me and pretty much a lot of people thought this movie shows Sakura in caring for parents and NaruSaku bond. I can go on.

You mean chapter 615? Yeah, I would agree with that. Still, narusaku has a good foundation. At the end of the day, I don't think Kishimoto would want to make a pairing canon until the end of the manga, or near the end of the manga.

Maybe Kishimoto doesn't loves a lot about money, but Shueisha and Studio Pierrot do.... Don't understimate their yearning for more money..

Romance isn't the main focus of the manga, and considering the manga is extremely popular already, I doubt Kishimoto is pressured by his editor/ publisher to make a pairing canon simply because of its popularity. Remember, when One Piece author Eiichiro Oda was asked about adding more romance to his manga, he simply told people to go read something else.

The anime, contrary to popular opinion, has no influence on the manga at all.

Well of course he didn't create the perfume, just like he didn't create the animation for the movie. Same thing, basically. He wasn't motivated by money says otherwise judging from the official Rtn trailer & poster. Giving hope to the NH/SS fandom until they got into the movie theater to actually see the movie. If he's motivated by money to make some ridiculous Sasuke cologne, why do you cut out the idea of him applying that to "pairing fanservice". Doesn't make sense.

That's what I think too...... for a few years of course. Honestly, with Tsunade on her deathbed and with Kakashi and Naruto not ready to take the position, (Kakashi's reason has been stated and he definitely won't after meeting Obito) I really get the feeling somehow, Minato will break out of ET and take over the Hokage position once again (temporarily) until Naruto is ready. Kushina will be an added bonus for me.

Honestly, the way I see it, this reunion would finally pay off all of Naruto's struggles and efforts. He lost his family, but through endurance and perseverance, he gets them back at the near-end of the series. It's almost a perfect ending for his journey. Once he achieves Hokageship, his parents disappear. It would perfectly illustrate how the child has completely grown up and no longer needs his parents anymore. Just like real life.

I sorta feel bad for them but not really at the same time. I'm fairly certain Kishimoto's trolling tactics heavily inflict the most damage on the NaruHina shippers. Yeah, NaruSaku has gotten trolls but not like NaruHina. The most I can think of were 540 and 469/470 but the difference is they aren't true trolls. 469/470 was practically spilling confirmation of Naruto's still existent love for Sakura through his behavior towards the whole confession (NH fans ignore this, but's it's very true) not mentioning the fact that Sakura never agreed with him about not having feelings for him. 540, though brutal, did show Sakura has a realistic image of Sasuke and is ashamed of her love so it's almost a blessing in disguise. Given all the NaruSaku development throughout the manga, it's not that much a cause for concern even though it's annoying that she still feels that way.

Just wanted to say that.

Refer back to my earlier comment: "I highly doubt Kishimoto is motivated by money, but I think he likes to tease pairings for fun." I wasn't referring to this movie only, but the manga as a whole. Remember, there was the yaoi sasusai scene, kakanaru, kakairu, and so forth.

I'm confused about your comment. He didn't animate the movie, but he write the script. There's sasusaku, sasu/everyone, hinanaru, itasaku, nejihina, and leetenten. He's not "giving hope" per say; he didn't make the trailer, just like most scriptwriters don't make their film trailers.

Kishimoto didn't make the cologne, his publisher or whoever owns the license did -- I'm not sure why in your statement is contradicting itself.
