Okay, so for Nh to have a fighting chance, it would take umm... probably Sakura telling Naruto they are only friends, but I highly doubt it, so thats why I say NH can't really win, sorry I can;t think of a better way for it to win.
I HIGHLY doubt Sakura will tell Naruto that. 1. Sakura and Naruto.. well, they have a crap load of development together, and to see it all go to waste by her just saying that to him, (and break his heart) would just be...well, y'know, very stupid on the mangas part, (I'm sure someone else here can give a more logical answer, but I'm too tired to think of anything smart.) and 2. it ain't a weekly soap where people discuss their feelings so intently when it comes to the just friends stuff, right? confessions are one thing.. but. Sasuke handled it pretty well when he called her annoying and walked off, and yet how that started a whole "SS foreva~" craze with romance, i'm not sure... But anyway.
NH is on its last legs, the same goes for SS.
IMO even if Naruto and Sakura only end up as best friends in the conclusion of the story, which I highly doubt, I still don't think that SS and NH are gonna happen. Even if NS doesn't happen, that still doesn't change the fact that Naruto still doesn't see Hinata the way he sees Sakura, Sasuke's still not gonna give a crap about Sakura, and Sakura's character development is gonna be for nothing if she starts her Part I fangirling over again. Kishi-sensei is smart enough to know that he shouldn't do these things. I know I swore to myself that I'd never use the "Kishi is the writer" argument again, but come on, when you actually think about it, it's simply common sense and writing initiative. If we know that, then obviously so should he.
Anyways, I was lurking on YT a few minutes ago. I know I shouldn't be in that place, but I'm trying to find these so-called comments to keep the thread going. These ones got my interest in particular:

These comments are better than the typical bashing we frown upon on YT, but I can't help but laugh at how wrong these are. And that's the lightest way I can put this.
