 Like I suggested earlier, some images may be a part of the epilogue while others may not. Isn't it interesting that some images are cut out and you don't see the scenes that happen before or after it?

Those who are aware of the grievous injury suffered, maybe? The Tsukuyomi reflects upon the entirety of the earth, surely there would be some level influence from chakra being used to create it. It's possible that the mechanics of the jutsu are influenced by external factors, just like many other techniques that were created through natural energy and the world around. True, it's a long shot, but a possible explanation nonetheless.

LadyGT should write her own original story someday, I really like her narrative. I would buy/support her series without a doubt!
