You're right about the developer having changed things.... it doesn't have 500,000 weapons anymore. It now has 3,000,000+ weapons tongue.gif

Not too sure on specifics, but the developers liken it to a dice roll that randomizes weapons you can pick up in the game. The guns are generated like other weapons in other RPGs but you might pick up a revolver with grenade ammo or an automatic shotgun with incendiary bullets, etc....

Yep. apparently the game randomizes EVERYTHING about the weapons.
like... you could get a weapon that looks like a tiny pistol called "Peepsqueak" that actually fires bullets that explode like mini-nukes.
That and the game has 4 player campaign coop. with the console versions having splitscreen coop. these things alone put this game on my must buy list lol.

I guess the developers of Borderlands want to leave a historical mark by being the first to have the moosstt weapons available in the game kinda like RE4 was the first to have the awesome over-the-shoulder cam view in a shooter.

I like portable gaming but with so many good Xbox 360/PS3 console games always coming out my PSP has been a mere dust collector like the Wii and I'm even more annoyed about them doing away with UMD's from the new PSP lineup.

I like portables! biggrin.gif First one was the Game Gear (remember that system?) And even though I'm a little pissed off that now the PSP is going to "play games by buying and downloading" method...

you can still get games on UMDs, they're not dropping that.

I actually like to sit down in front of the computer or even sit on the sofa or like most times lay down on it and play for hours straight, I don't know ever since the Gameboy times I never really showed interest in portable gaming sure I played a few games on them and wouldn't mind having a DS or PSP but there's just this feeling about playing at home... maybe it's because the cookie jar and I can get as many as I want, Yeah it's definately the cookie jar that and the game I usually play Rpg's consume a lot of time so I like to spend that time confortable on the sofa or in a nice cushioned chair and then again it's the cookie jar...
