I find this very very interesting. I bet Chris Matthews wishes he'd stated his opinion a little differently, though it wouldn't change what he obviously truly feels:

1. They reject every bill Obama & the democrats attempt
2. They are consistent in being the party of no
3. They refuse to attend bi-partisanship especially when America is in great need of their government
4. It seems that they are purposely trying to ruin Obama to have an better chance in 2012 elections

Obama raised tuiton and costs of classes, college students are going on riots all over the country and even blocking a interstate. Do ya'll think Obama did any good out of this or only drag the country down more? Do you believe our country is heading towards a potential civil war?

One slight flaw....Obama didn't raise tuition and costs, it was the states in which the universities reside because they needed to make budget cuts. Individual state governments are the ones who decided to cut funding, therefore the college has to raise funds from other sources aka students. It's a no win scenario.

I've noticed this effect for years just by being observant. Since before Hurricane Katrina storms all over the world and most notably in my home state have been getting more intense. Or worse, there are no storms at all and there is drought. It's the biggest factor in my belief that 2012 may really be the end of an era since things have been progressing like this. Just look at the three huge earthquakes recently, on top of the storms that article mentions.

You shouldn't have called them stupid. That's just unnecessary bashing, but what you posted here is a fairly accurate portrayal of what Republicans have been doing for the past year, and here's proof:

Republicans get BUSTED!

And I believe that Obama completely failed the economy and people in terms of their jobs and livelihood, by getting so obsessed with making 'history' with Healthcare. I mean you're already the first half-Black let's get it right people President, let that be enough for you right now. You don't need to keep on 'making history.' And the Senate Healthcare Bill is horrendous. I liked the House Bill much better. Stop trying to cram this gawd-awful bill down people's throats, and concentrate on the economy and jobs which you have completely neglected doing over the past year dry.gif

Sakura that will take time...

Remember Obama came when the US was already f**cked! The man is trying undo the damage his precedssor has caused. The reason why job creation is difficult because its simple economics. America has become an consuming nation if you look at all your products in your house I promise you that less than 25% is US made. Companies have move to other countries for cheaper labor and more money in their bank.

Example
We consume 25% of the world's oil yet we have less than 3%. Americans are very stupid because we rely on foreginers for a product in a market that we cannot even compete. Billions of dollars to given these countries. Why you think we are still at war in the middle east? Why you think Obama is pushing forth the green movement because that will give us jobs and we are producing not kissing ass.

And you really think I'm *not* aware that most of our economic problems started *before* Obama came into office. That wasn't the point I was making, and in fact Obama *himself* owned up to letting this whole Healthcare issue take his attention away from the bigger problems of the economy and jobs. That's why he after wasting an entire year finally decided to start pushing through legislation to create more infrastructure jobs, like building highways and roads. But the people aren't buying his sudden focus shift to what he *should* have been working on since the first day he came into office, not within only the last month. And it took the Democrats losing that 60th Senate seat of power that has been Democratic for decades, to a Republican for him to finally get a wake up call that he's not paying enough attention to the people and the economy. That's why his ratings are so low now. People *understand* that change takes time, but actions speak a heck of a lot louder than words. And right now Obama's actions haven't been pleasing much of anyone. Even hardcore Democrats who voted for him are wondering just what in the world he's up to, and while they don't regret their vote they're still waiting for Obama to actually follow up with all his campaign 'talk' with some real action.

What really pisses me off about Obama...is his stand on trade, he went into protectionist mode on Chinese tires way too early. China depends on the United States to buy most of its products, while the United States depends on China to make most of its products.

And then he is pissing off a lot of people, he has pissed off both the left and the right. The right attacks him for deciding to close GITMO way too early, and the left attacks him for not closing GITMO at all...the right attacks him for deciding to leave Iraq, and the left attacks him for going onto Afghanistan.

Real leaders are decided by doing what's right, rather than doing what's popular. Both sides have good and bad ideas, too bad that the bad ideas of some whacks like Bill Maher and Hanity overshadows the good ones.

Lmfao as if his country wouldn't have responded in much the same way. This is the same guy who said there are zero gays in his country, lol.

@SakuraBlossoms Well said. He's pretty much abandoned everything he promised in his campaign and he needs to focus on what the people want, rather than what he wants.

My dear friends

We go through this with every single politician we elect into office rather they are local, state, or federal. Have there been any elective that go follows through with EVERY SINGLE PROMISE they claim during elections? No!

In my opinion Obama is better than most, he's looking towards the future through his actions of the following...
Healthcare: will be a huge thing in the next 10 years because the Boomer generation will be retiring & there isn't enough demand of medical professionals to help out. Take Japan for instance; their senior citizens make up 40% of the population and that's huge my friends.
Energy: We cannot continue to rely on other nations. We need to stop using oil because there's none here and we give the muslims at east our money as they are growing rich, we are growing poor. He building a nuclear plant for the 1st time in 30 yrs and that will create new jobs. He has even teamed up with other American energy moguls on the green movement which are resources we have here in the state and those will bring new jobs making us an producer which we haven't been in years.
Economy: The US need to become an producing nation. Our jobs are floating away to cheaper nations. Don't compare us to China or India because damnit they got money because are producers and keeping a balance of being consumers while we are losing money because of arrogance & greed.
Education: This can go out in so many ways but Obama wants to improve our system. While our universities are great below that its horrid! Our Asian & European counterparts excel better are bery much ahead of us. By the time they go to college they are ready while we aren't. I think no one should dropout from HS (especially if you're black or hispanic).
