On a scale of 1-10 rate the last movie you watched

The low score isn't because this is a bad movie persay, all the individual pieces are great but there's no glue. It's just wonderfully mediocre. Mostly because of the story. I don't know what kind of a story it is, other than it is one. The direction is so misleading, and usually that's fine if it amounts to something, but it amounts to nothing. Just... nothing. The story centers around two brothers, Bloom and Stephen, played by Adrien Brody (the Pianist, the Darjeeling Limited) and Murk Ruffalo (Zodiac, 13 going on 30), who are con artists. Stephen wants a real life and so Stephen proposes one last con. Their 'mark,' the person they're conning, is a girl named Penelope played very wonderfully awkward by Rachel Weisz (the Mummy, the Fountain). You think this film is about conning and being unable to trust one another, but it ultimately amounts to nothing. The story is about nothing, and the implications at the end is that the story now, at the end, is going to begin, so the feeling you get at the end of the film, is that what you just watched doesn't matter in the least. Good performances, but I couldn't care less about what they're doing.

Great sequel, though I felt it was very long than the prequel. The old timer and the twin Autobots cracked me up.

Caught it on the USA channel just a few hours back, and like most movies on that channel, it was edited due to being a local station. Similiar to the first movie (and the two after), FD2 is your common supernatural thriller which only has one message: You can't cheat death. The main character, Kimberly, finds herself trying to stop a chain of unexpected deaths that will ultimately chase down the survivors of the Highway Pileup - using her surroundings (as well as premonitions) to figure out what's going to happen next. Final Destination 2 brings along a returning character known as Clear Rivers, who is the lone survivor of the Flight 180 explosion from the first movie. Each character meeting their demise, FD2 keeps a semi-plot intact without having a character die literally a second after the other. As well as giving background information on the conclusions of the first movie and how each character in this one had found themselves in this situation.
Although for the longest amount of time, I always wondered the actual 'end' for Kimberly and Officer Burke. So I have to thank the special extras on the FD3 DVD for informing me. One of the special features allows you to read on newspaper on those two... though it left me gawking at how they both died.

No matter how dark it is, you’re not alone you know?

I haven't seen the previous Bring it On titles, but I was forced to watch because of Christina Milian. I like how she bring her Latin roots in the movie but basically its the same plot, underdog cheerleading squad accomplish their goal by defeating the champion squad (which their captain is a rich, valley, very spoiled stereotype of a girl with a kitteny attitude, and has a follower which I really, really can't tolerate.)

What the kitten happened!? This movie had so much potential, but 90% of it was Michael Bay's comedy hour (something he SUCKS at). There were some cool parts, but overall, if a turd could transform into something, it would be this movie. And I'm not a racist, but those autobot twins need to be lynched for the good of mankind (damn, Jazz got killed, but these useless SOBs live!?).
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: 7.5/10
I don't know why, but I feel that something was missing...I just don't know what. That being said, the direction and acting were still fantastic. I actually like HarryXGinny...but RonXHermoine in the end did need more work.
Tropic Thunder: 8/10
Starts off a bit slow, but gets more hilarious as it goes. Robert Downy Jr. was absolutely fantastic; he treaded on very thin ice and just flew across with flying colors! Tom Cruise pulled a fast one too!
Hellboy: 7/10
Decent action flick overall. I liked the main character, but some of the acting was cheesey, and the fighting got pretty repetitive with Hellboy killing the same creature over and over again. Still worth seeing.
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army: 8.5/10
Wow, HUGE improvement. The special effects and creatures were gorgeous, the character dynamics were superb, and the imagination put into this film was out of this world. I had a few problems with the story, but overall this is a great and underrated action movie, and it made me a fan of the comics.
Rambo: 7.5/10
I haven't seen the previous Rambo films, but this was a solid action movie. It annoyed me how naive (though well-intentioned) the missionaries were, and they did a good job of making absolutely horrendous villains that you WANT to see brutally killed. Stallone was badass, but it kind of annoyed me in the finale how all the other characters were right in the crossfire while Rambo was in a relatively safe position where it was almost impossible to kill him. The gore was also ridiculously cartoonish.
Never Back Down: 6/10
The fighting and training parts were fun. The "drama" was pathetic at best.

XDDD omg it wasn't scary in my opinion. It was funny because everytime there was something paranormal going on in the house, these group of teenagers in the theaters would go "OH HELL NO!" LOLOLOLOL. It changed my whole perspective on the movie. But I do have to admit, the ending was unexpected and scary. Overall, it wasn't that scary. It was all srs bzness and stuff. I would totally watch it again just because it's so suspenseful and they try to make it all serious.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs: 9/10
Nice movie. Very heart-warming with tons of craziness for the herd.
The Proposal: 8/10
I believe this was a good romance comedy movie. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds did pretty well and wasn't boring. Betty White cracked me up at the end though.
Fighting: 7/10
I felt that this should be expanded more because there was some questions left unanswered in the movie. Overall, the fight scenes were good.

G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra: 9/10
I was impressed with this movie. Kick ass action, cool gadgets, Scarlet and the Baroness (later was just brainwashed good girl turned into evil chick) were hot, shock that even though he was playing a serious movie without Shawn, Marlon Wayans did good in this movie. I also shock to see both Brendan Fraiser and the guy who played Impotet from The Mummy in this movie...

The Taking of Pelham 123: 8/10
Even though I haven't seen the original 1970 version (which I believe it was twice as long), this movie was very good... John Travolta was cracking me up in this movie.

An old movie (thank you netflix) but i still enjoyed it. The comedy was good and so was the romance. It would be a 9/10 but they try and use the marijuana card to many times and it didn't really fit in with the movie.

Why does this movie reminded me of The Sixth Sense? And I was about to fell asleep because it was boring in the beginning and it slowly picked up the pace... But anyways... it was a spooky movie of a doctor finding the truth when she actually realize where she is. And this occur with her and other people from surviving a plane crash... or so they thought...

Another Wayans movie, only this time, the next generation are the stars. But I find this worse than Scary Movie.
Seven Pounds: 8/10
While I may say this was not as good as Pursuit of Happyness (I almost about to fall to sleep while watching), I was interested that he was doing good deeds to 7 random people after he became devasted for causing his wife's car accident.

Saw it on premiere day, had to wait an hour in line...but it was worth it. The effects were MUCH better than the first one, and the action was great too. Must see.

Very good movie. The special effects are great, and the plot is interesting. But it was still...meh.
